Favorite shaky head worm?
Biospawn Plasma tail worm, Zoom Trick Worm or recently the Fishog Coon Tail worm has become my go to bait for shaky head. They are inexpensive and the different presentation it gives that other worms in my area do have had made them deadly.

Jigs
My Opinion is the Kustom Kicker Jigs makes the best jig Ive ever fished. That are hand tied with copper wire. The skirt is a living rubber skirt. My personal favorites are the Dock Monkey and Deposit Swim Jig.

Quantum exo100hpt
I thought they we're releasing a gen 2 Exo like they did the smoke? I hope the New line is just as good.

I love them. I use the hogzilla every year when bass are on beds. The Coon Tail worm is my favorite shakey had worm to. I can't remember the name but their stick bait works wonderfully when wakey rigged. I have bought over 100 bags since they have went inn sale for .99

Best time of year to fish i soft swimbait
I was thinking that the keitech durability woulda be an issue in the a rig since you have to use the entire package for one rig. That is way I bought some speed shad while on sale to just in case

Best time of year to fish i soft swimbait
Comparing the speed shad and the swing impact they look and feel exact same. I think I'm going to use the speed shad just because the price differential

What reels do you pair with Duckett Ghost rods
I only use Denali and it seems they are a helluva lot more balance than My wife's ghosts. However you are correct that they balance better then other overly produced rods.

Best time of year to fish i soft swimbait
What kind of cover do u fish them in? My lake is full of vegitation with a clay bottom. I assume swim it just over the vegitation like a lipless crank.

Brand loyalty (reels)
Most of my reels WERE Revos. Then I tried 13 and switched a majority of luv reels to13. But lately I have dabeled in Quantum and think I am going to switch over to Quantum. The Exo is my all time favorite reel. I can't wait till the next gen is released. The gen 2 smoke are extremely under rated. I love the Accurist at $99 and the team KVD sub $99. At this point my Arsenal is 13 and Quantum only. And When I need reels Quantum it's the first place I'll look then to 13. I personally cannot agree with this. My least favorite reels I've used have been. Daiwa Lexa, Tatula and Shimano Caenan and Citica E. My all time favorite is the Quantum Exo and Revo STX.

Best time of year to fish i soft swimbait
I have never fished a swimbait. I want to get into it rods season and stay with soft ones like the swing impact and speed shad. When is the swimbait bite the most productive? Also how would you feel with using the swing impact fat on the Alabama rig?

Kickin it old school
You can buy some at Cabelas still. I saw they make pork trailers and finesse worms. I almost bought stome yesterday but I couldn't pull the trigger on the price

What reels do you pair with Duckett Ghost rods
I fish the same way. My wife on the other hand holds the rod straight out. And frankly she kicks my butt when we are cranking. I'm just trying to find a reel that will make her happy.

What reels do you pair with Duckett Ghost rods
Lews was the next brand I was going to try next.

Which reel do you feel is better?
I used to really dislike Quantum. But over the winter I bought the new gen smoke and a handful of Exo ($99 Cabelas) and wow do I love them. I think quantum may be my go to reels. The Exo has a great reputation but the Smoke is the most under rated reels. You won't be disappointed in either reel.

What reels do you pair with Duckett Ghost rods
My wife bought a couple Ghost rods a med crankbait and hvy. I have been trying to pair reels to it for her but I can't find one that balances the rod. These rods seem very tip heavy. I have tried quantum Exo, quantum team kvd, 13 A, bass pro carbonlite, bass pro bionic, Abu Revo S. Nothing seems to counter the tip heaviness. What reels are you using on the Ghost rod?

Lighter Powered Frog rod
My area a 3# is a giant fish. When I use a Hvy Rod in light grass I set the hook and it jerks the fish out of the water. I know that it is in my hook set even though I am not setting the hook like my life depends on it I do set hard to the side. But I also feel that the rod is also setting the hook harder than it needs to be.

Lighter Powered Frog rod
I'm in the process of selling nut frog Rods and getting some MH but didn't want to do it and be too underpowered when froggin.

Lighter Powered Frog rod
I fish almost every time out with a frog. They are so successful in my,area because nobody else uses them. But I do have a small issue with the rods I use. Most waters by me offer small grass and Lily pads. I don't have the slop that most people think of when frog fishing. When I'm fishing it feels like I am over powering with a hvy frog rod. Is it feesable to use a med hvy rod to frog when you are not fighting slop?
