Delta Reservoir. I heard there are nice fish in it but not having an electric motor only boat I cant get into the water. I catch tons of trout out of it but never bass.

No *** or Fenwick hmx both rods $80, my opinion no *** is worth way more than $80. It is a $150 with a smaller price tag.

I recently sold about 75% of my rods. I am a coangler and am condensing down to only 8 setups (Only take 5-6 with me on a given event). I am purchasing more rods to cover what I sold, I just want to try different brands out and find other rods I like, Currently own 7' MF Abu Villain casting 7' MF Glass Skeet Reese casting I have 3 spinning combos already so I will be purchasing 3 more casting rods Reels I currently Own 5:1 Exo 6:1 Incept 7:1 Ardent Apex Pro 7:1 BPS Bionic 8:1 C In my events I normally through Jigs, squarebills, chatterbait, spinnerbait, jerkbait, frog, small swimbaits. All soft plastic applications are done on my spinning gear. What reels should I pair with what rods and what 3 rods should I get to finish my arsenal?

There is an above ground reservoir in my area it is clear to 20 feet. How do I go about fishing in such clear water from the shore? I'm not sure what baits or target areas to target.

Bring me some reviews on Enigma Rods. I have been looking at buying some of their lines the Phenom, and Aaron's Edge. What is the good, the bad, and the ugly with these rods?

I totally agree Ohio posts are almost impossible to find.

KVD hasn't performed well in the Elites. But he has been killing it in MLF. If not now very soon MLF will be categorized with the Elite Series and FLW Tour as a major series. Also KVD just won the last Elite series event.

my other question would be when would you actually use pink and yellow line?

What is a good application for Gliss? It seems like a braid replacement but from what I read it can be used in place of flouro or co poly applications as well.

Wheeler and Blaylock both posted on their Facebook yesterday that they would be leaving the FLW and Fish the Elite series only next year.

I am starting a new bass club in NW Ohio. There is really no organized tournament series in this region. The club will launch on 2017 while I take this year to gain interest and get the little details worked out. Currently I have 8 boaters and 6 nonboaters that want to join. My issue is what size like do I need to have to hold decent events. I have Lake Erie (obvious) and another lake that is 2500 acres. The next biggest lake in the region is 400 acres with most waters 150 to 275 acres. What is the minimum you would fish an event on?

I can see moving to get rid of co angler division but I think flw has more exposure. NBCSN and Outdoor network plays their recaps in the afternoon along side their other fishing shows as to were the Elite series is on at 6am on ESPN. I seen there was some tension between the tour and anglers between the strict boat manufacture rules the FLW has. I personally always found the flw more enjoyable to watch and keep track of. Oh and doesn't the FLW change the lakes they fish every year like the Elite series?

I normally watch the FLW tour religiously. I could name and recognize every angler in the top 20. But it seems like the big players from the FLW left to go the the B.A.S.S. I notice Omori, Monroe, Wheeler, Duckett, Ehler to name a few have switched over. Now when I look at the standings I barley recognize 10 of the top 20 anglers. In my opinion the FLW is more exciting to watch. I really only watch the Elites during the Classic. What makes the Elite series a better series to fish or is there other reasons the big name anglers are leaving the FLW.

I'm from NW Ohio and don't have any info on Evans Lake except the boys in MLF is killing it their. Seen them catching 3-5 lbers.

My wife and I are moving to Blissfield, MI at the beginning of July. MY work is transferring from Toledo, OH up. I know the Raisen River runs through it and has good smallmouth but all my reports I find for the river is for the Monroe stretch. Does Blissfield have a good Smallmouth population? Also were are some other good inland lakes for large and smallmouth in the Blissfield area besides Erie. Thank You

I was hoping this was the case. I know of submerged cover that is castable from shore and I'm not sure any one I'm fishing against knows aabout it.

So I have a bank event this weekend. Last year I used a cooler live well that worked great but the live well is broken and won't be in use this weekend. I have to keep 3 fish alive for 6 hours. I am not sure if a metal stringer through the lip or a metal basket would keep better my chances at keeping them alive.

I have an event Sunday. The only time I have to pre fish is tomorrow afternoon. It is a small lake that is filled by Lake Erie. The event is a bank fishing event so there won't be too much running around. The current weather here in NW Ohio has really threw me off. About a month ago we had two weeks of 75-80 degree days. The bass were starting to come up and stage. Then we got hit with 9" of snow. over a 2 day span. For the last 3 weeks temps barely make it out of the 50s. with the event temps in the lower 60s. The bass were ran off deep when the snow hit. I still haven't seen any fish baitfish or bass near the shore. I have caught decent fish on jerk bait but that was different waters. If you only had half a day to find fish and determine what stage the fish are in what baits would you throw. Im taking 10 combos with me pre fishing but want to narrow down to three for the event.

Hybrid is the only line I use that is not Braid. I buy bulk spools of EBay super cheap.

I agree with you. 90% of the time I use Fishog or Havoc baits. They are inexpensive but work great. I don't know if the sale is still going but Fishog has all their baits at $.99 a pack. I do occasionally use Keith but only on Swim jigs or A-Rigs. And even then I usually opt for the cheaper Speed Shad by Bass Pro.
