20 vs 20 Ill take Super8slick over 832. S8S stronger smoother quieter than 832. Palomar knot letting loose at 18pounds with 832 where S8S was upwards of 24. Fish-n-fool knot added strength to both lines so still S8S stronger. Another strong limb braid (more so than S8S Smackdown 832) just not as quiet as S8S is Gamma Torque.

I purchased an ETB 7'6" MH/F and wasnt pleased with it. Didnt feel good in hand felt it was a bit heavy and it was tip heavy that compounded the issue. Overall sensitivity was under par for other rods I have in its price range. I returned it.

I was having luck with size 3 silver blade white skirt end of this season. And yeah the blades on Mepps seem to spin easily compared to Roosters. With Roosters I seem to have to snap the lure at the beginning of retrieve to get blade to spin. Mepps just start reeling and blade turns even very slow speed.

Yeah the lure caught me. The weight for its size is what Im going to like. The pic makes it look bigger its maybe 1-7/8" long and 1/2" at tallest point about 1/4" thick . Going to have great distance for sure hopefully it catches fish. I have two St Croix's that will try it on. Avid 8' ML/Moderate and a Legend Elite 7'6" M/F. Im leaning towards the Avid for ned rig use.

Paying for the name about like Smackdown braid. Have tried this in 2 different tests not finding where the premium price it is justified. Its not stronger or quieter nor holds its color as well as $15-$20 braids.

No, I havent used the line. I went by line dia. for purchase 60#rated at .012 which is the same dia. as the 40# Samurai. I actually havent opened the lines to check them out yet.

I use 1/20 TRD on 8' ML/M Avid rod and 8# nanofil the little bait really slings out there a ways.

I used that on my gliss but then I tried doubling the line over about a foot then tied the fish-n-fool and got 4 more pounds of knot strength. The same doubling over of the line with the FnF on nanofil helps greatly as well.

Ive had my SV105 spool inductor get stuck at the outward position but didnt know it was known issue. Is there a part # for the stiffer spring or what reel that uses a stiffer spring I can order myself to do swap?

Caught a few today on trd ned rig. Daiwa SV105 20# braid 7'MH/MF Crucial rod one 18" 3# and another 15". Around 40-45 out a little windy all out far and deep.
