I pretty much leave frogs at home and use Ikas or senkos in places I used to throw frogs. People state often to throw a senko as a back up to a missed frog bite well just eliminate the frog to begin with. The smaller form lets the rig get in their mouth easier less missed strikes. Plus if one does miss, the ika will fall in place and bass comes back for it a lot of the time. I for sure hook into many more this way. In the pic this stuff I feel is better suited for lure that will drop in the open spots or a person can drag the ika on top still.

Thats what I watch the most.

Many of my strike kings do the same I started buying other brands. But a good strike king catches fish.

My little order of paddletail swimbait supply stuff came in today Reaction Strike, Rage Swimmer, Jackall Rhythm Wave, Owner 1/8-1/4 Offshore swimbait hooks, 16# sniper fc one of the Reaction Strike baits was an odd color

The line isnt doubled over on itself its a single strand put through the eye twice. Now what you mention doubling the line over I use for my nanofil line. Will double the line over and then go through the eye twice to 6 turn uni knot. My 6# nano will hold to 9# and my 8#nano will hold to 12# with this doubled over knot.

I have 10-12-16# sniper too and use the fishnfool knot but with 6 turns for all line braid fc. If you have ever bought Power Pro line, in their manual, they say to use this knot for stronger connection- through the eye twice 6 turn uni knot.

On knot wars the fishnfool knot(uni knot) beat quite a few knots including the palomar. around 6:20 for the FnF vs palomar

Doesnt melt my TRD's or Finesse wormz the green wormz dont come out all that chartreuse like this color trd. I just went and pulled on the trd pictured and the thing still good no melting but the chartreuse color is fading.

A ned rig is easily thrown with an SV105. Total weight pictured of 1/20 shroomz head and 2.75"trd is .059g + 3.9g =3.959g right at .126ounces or 1/8 total. Using braid I skip this with the SV105 easily.

I got this 3# today I got a couple nice jumps out of it as well. The second jump was a good 2+ feet out of the water and put a big smile on my face. A passerby took notice and even said "wow that flew out of the water".

With braid I just use hook holder on rod leave it ready for next outing. With fluorocarbon I cut lure/hook off, reel in the rest of the line onto spool. I will tie knot fresh next outing. I feel the knot gets worse with FC line the longer its tied.

I had that happen 2 weeks ago 1st time ever. I just so happened to tie my knot differently on that hook. I usually pass line through eye twice to a 6 turn uni knot. Well I only passed it through once on the hook that slipped out. I set hook and pop lost lure. Examined end of line and knot was there with the small loop at end. Maybe I got in hurry and didnt cinch it down tight enough

I absolutely feel my stradic doesnt do anything better than my president. My president sure click bail is better than the bail system on my stradic. I have a Supreme XT too but only paid $75 for it new not sure I would pay full price for that given how well I like the president. Just not much distinction between spinning reels to me for justification to spend $$$ for higher priced ones.

I have loaded 225' 30# Gamma Torque braid on my 50E with around 100' of 6# mono backing if my memory is correct.
