Fish I D
I agree, rainbow, and probably a stocker, not a natural. Although, once a stocker has been in the water long enough, the color and fins become such that you normally cannot tell the difference around here! Jeff

Homemade Spooling Station
Glad you like it. You can also make an "L" bracket and mount it to anything flat. Just another version. Jeff

Homemade Spooling Station
Normally I am always spooling up my reels alone, and with the smaller 300yrd or less spools it was never a problem, but since I have been buying the 1000yrd spools, it was a little more tricky. So I decided to make a spooling station at the house. I have a wooden rod rack, so I just made it onto there. Basically, I took a 8'' bolt and ran it through the wood. Thought I would just put a nut on there, but the threads didn't go back that far. So I got a locking collar to lock against the outside of the wood, then a plastic spacer, and then a hard conical plastic faucet washer. Same on the outside, except added a spring to keep tension, and replaced the set screw with a thumb screw for easy removal on the locking collar. Worked very well while spooling up 4 reels yesterday. Just thought I would share an easy to make spooling station that cost around $10 and hardly any time to make. Jeff
