Those fish are the ones that will haunt you in your dreams. I would be back in that same area after her. If she is pre-spawn, she might still be in that area feeding up before the spawn! Jeff

Hull *might* still be good, but I wouldn't trust it after that kind of hit. Sucks for him too. Hopefully his insurance takes good care of him, but being an older boat, I would hate to see what they are going to offer. Jeff

They have a tiller model of that same hull called the "Canadian Series" that the lodge we fish at in Mexico uses. I cannot speak of the lower sides, because if you look at the one I am talking about, the decks are lower. They used 60hp tillers and the boats are plenty stable to stand and fish. I have been out when the waves would have made it a little challenging in a bass boat, and these were adequate. Hope this helps! Jeff

The new E6X belongs to Dwight. I do not have one yet, but I will tell you I was impressed. The action and power seemed to be spot on, and the quality is what you would expect. I was using braid with a mono leader and felt every strike. The cork is nice. I would not hesitate to buy one! Jeff
