New Rick Clunn crankbait
I recently saw some Lucky Craft RC's being sold at another online retailer.Man, RC's influence into an affordable line of cranks would make my tackle bag weigh at least 10lbs. heavier

what are your favorite 2 colors for square billed cranks?
I buy all my LC from the largest LC supplier in the US. Sometimes I'll call up and try to get a specific color in a mini sr or BDS 1 and they tell me that more and more colors in those models are being discontinued because they aren't selling. I can't for the life of me figure that one out. I catch the fool out of fish on those sizes.??? :-?

Threaded vs Spearing Jig Trailer
LOL...I would rather wrestle a grizzly bear than try to thread one of these on. I typically spear a chunk like this, pork or plastic. I thread most others, but like others have said I will change it up for different fall rates, sizes, profiles etc.

Netbait Bait Company
Huhh, doesn't sound good. Hope they don't fizzle out. Not answering emails and not getting their site up seems a bit ominous. I like some of their products and bought a bag of Char. Shad Finesse worms yesterday that look very promising.

Netbait Bait Company
I can't find a website for the actual Netbait Company. Do they not have one?

Fish Harder Co. to sell of subsidiaries
Nope, no problems. I've bought a bunch in the last six months and as recently as a month ago and none have given me a bit of trouble. Vike is doing a decent job but still not up to snuff with TT....imho. Wish someone would offer those weights in the transparent chartruese color again.

Which plastics do you burn through the most?
Roboworm and Berkley PB Hand poured finesse. Both catch the heck out of fish but don't last very well.

My local Wal-Mart has Silver DT-6's on clearance for $5- Here's a $ saver, How about your idea.
RW you ole fishing snob ;D j/k I feel the same way but I will throw all of my used plastics in a pile on the deck and go through them later and salvage what I can with super-glue. Taking the the old grubs and turning them into make-shift poppers is an interesting idea.- my first Lucky Craft
For shallow-cranking (5-6ft) the B.D.S. 3's are killer. Chartruese Shad Ghost Chartruese Shad Skeet's Magic Aurora Green Perch They have some of the best angler catching, I mean fish catching colors out there.- Swimming Super Flukes
To solve that problem, what I do with baits that require a weighted hook is to take the hook point and insert it into the bait as normal, then back it out and starting with the hook eye, push that through the hole that you made and rig the rest as normal. That will save you on the spit and stretch. Hope that makes things easier! You can also rig the bait prior to tying your line. Instead of going in the front with the point push the hook eye into the bait where the point would otherwise come out. Then, push the eye out the front of the bait enough to tie on and afterwards push the eye back in the bait a bit. The hook will still be positioned the same as before it's just inserted from the opposite direction. I'm sure there's an illustration or video showing this method. I know my instructions probably aren't the best so I'll try to find a video. Thats what I was trying to explain Yeah, you were. I must have had a momentary lapse of reading comprehension while reading your post. My apologies.- Swimming Super Flukes

I know right? Stupid old largemouth learned her lesson. I've had luck with them weightless and on C-rigs. That was the first time I've tried them on a jighead/swimbait head. I was just wondering what rigging produced the most for others.- Big Or Small For Winter Largemouth?
RW-Other than during the dog days of summer I'm going big. Over the last year I've upsized everything I fish and it has been producing for me. Of course, if the situation dictates I go smaller but I start the day big.- Swimming Super Flukes
How do you rig Swimming Flukes? Sunday evening, I rigged one on a swimbait head and was chunking it into the spillway trying to catch a striper and vvvwaalah!!!! a 8 lb. largemouth! The water was so low that I wasn't expecting to catch anything much less a good largemouth. Needless to say, I'll be swimming these guys more often this year.- what hooks do you put on 1/2 oz red eye shads?
I put #2 Gamakatsu Short Shanks on and change out the split rings as well. IMHO the equipped hooks and split rings are junk. I've had both fail on numerous occasions. Actually, I change them on most SK hard-baits that I buy.- H20 Xpress and Lucky Craft crankbaits same blank molds?
I have a ton of LC and a few H2O. Although they aren't, "cut from the same cloth" the H2O baits have hung in there with LC for me. Oddly, the two biggest fish I've caught this year have been on LC and H2O. There's a noticable out of the box difference in quality but how far that translates into fish catching abilities IDK.- My double super secret lure...can you identify?
I was hoping to find another one because mine has seen better days. It took a hammering yesterday morning.- My double super secret lure...can you identify?
Pic wasn't showing up for some reason.- My double super secret lure...can you identify?
I call this thing my double super secret lure because I don't even know what it is. I got it at Wal-Mart several years ago for $.99. It's a topwater lure, but it doesn't walk the dog, it doesn't pop, and it doesn't swim. However, this thing will light a fire under the big girl's bellies during the winter. Can anyone identify it? Wal-Mart carried a company named Renegade one time that it might be. It came with red hooks but I swapped them out with Gamakatsu Short Shanks.- What´s the difference between ......
