41 Pound Carp Tried To Steal My Lipless Crankbait
That is a monster carp...wish I could even see one that big in the waters around here. Still to this day have never caught a carp.

Shaving
Best off with the gillettes. Also, remember to always dry off your razor blades after use. Water laying on them is the main factor that causes dullness.

Plain Ol' Twirl Tail Worm
I've got some electric blue luck e strikes...smells more like kool-aid to me, lol.

Kvd Fishsticks
I thought about getting that stuff, but keeping the stuff at a certain temperature worries me. I'm sure it's a fantastic product, but I just don't want to worry about that.

Kvd Fishsticks
They're pretty neat, I saw them at BPS last time and just couldn't commit to $9 for a tube of 0.5oz scent. I've never used any other scent, so I'll let you all know of the results. I figured if I don't like the stuff, I'll just never get it again, so no big deal.

Kvd Fishsticks
Just placed a big order with TW, these were on it. Couldn't decide on what scent I wanted, so I just got both the crawfish and shad. Anyone got anything positive or negative to say about em?

Baitcasting Reel Wont Spin The Spool
Sounds like something came loose - possibly the pinion gear came misaligned, or maybe a bearing went bad. Sounds a little more complicated than an oil problem.

Bearing Retainer Ring
Awesome customer service right there.

Painting Tungsten Weights
If I'm in a hurry, I'll coat my bullet weights with nail polish and heat them up with a lighter to let them dry quicker. Obviously, powder painting is going to give you a much longer lasting coat of paint. As much as I lose weights though, it works for me.

Hook Up Ratio With Circle Hooks?
You never want to set the hook when using circles. Wait for the fish to take off running, they set the hook themselves. Being bass fisherman, it is hard to be patient until you feel that fish running. I love circles, I think they help my catch ratio, especially using them for wacky rigged senkos and exclusively for catfish.

Talking While Fishing
Talking while fishing doesn't bother me at all. I will agree though that it does cut out a lot of your concentration. Then again, if I wanted to be serious, I would fish alone . I like the social time.

New Aaron Martins Video!
Is there any way to view the video in a lower quality? Slow internet people like me can't keep up with HD videos .

Shakey Head
I use the gambler giggy heads (the straight barber threader, not the spiral threader) with straight tail roboworms. The giggy heads are the only shakey heads I've found that allow the bait to stand completely up and down. I've caught a ton of fish off them.

Jig Style Suggestion
Neat rig, thanks for the advice . I haven't got to try a jig yet, but I did try to the tube idea, but to no success. I like the way it is coming through parts of the thick milfoil though. I'll keep trying it. Interesting jigs, your picture pretty much sums it up on what the canals look like, LOL. Thanks for the jig suggestion, I'll check some of em out.

Black N Blue Variation
Great looking jig. Can you find a matching trailer is the real question .

Lucky Craft
I couldn't find that color on popular tackle sites, but I did find their contact info. Here's the page: http://www.luckycraft.com/LuckyCraft/company.asp The color of that bait is #128, according to the lc catalog in front of me.

Deep Splatter Backs
Those look awesome. How's the action of em in the water? Tight or wide wobble?

Baby Bass
Out of all the other great painters here, I admire your work the most. You have such a good attention to detail. Good job on this one, looks awesome.

Arbogast Jitterbugs
My biggest fish (6.9) came off an old yellow 3/8oz jitterbug. Caught her using a retrieve 5-8 ft then pause technique. It was right as the sun was going down. The new jitterbugs just don't have the same feel.

Question For Jig Makers...
Yeah, that's actually pretty clever. Most of the windings in speakers, electric motor coils, and transformers have a thin layer of enamel on them. That's probably a good option.
