junior Driver's License?
Call your DMV or search your local government's website. Asking for legal advice online isn't a very wise idea. If you're doing something against the law and get pulled over, you should expect a citation for the violation. If it includes you operating or pulling a vehicle you're not allowed to, you're not going to be allowed to leave with it because liability will fall on the officer if something happens down the road.

Advice on a good follow up...
I always throw them weightless for a follow-up

Mushroom Head Jig sources?
I use a hot pot for them and rarely have an incomplete pour.

Advice on a good follow up...
I use a T rigged Senko to follow up misses on bladed jigs, with a very high success ratio too. Key is to get it back quickly.

Fishing line
Big Game is just a good all around line, it's cheap, readily available, and it comes in bulk spools so you don't have to buy as often. Don't know that it's any better or worse than Trilene, but I know that myself personally have had some bad spools of Trilene, but that's bound to happen with any line if you buy enough spools of it.

Fishing line
Tons of Silver Thread to be had out there still with very little searching. Berkley Big Game is a great like that is readily available if you try a replacement.

Downsides to Ned Rig What are yours
Downsides? It works too good and makes it possible for my wife to kick my butt out of the back of the boat?

Slower Gear Ratio = Better Bass Fishing
My worm fishing reel used to be a blazing fast 3.8:1 old school Lew's Had a hook set button that locked the spool in place, it was a gem. How I ever landed a fish with it is a mystery.

Mushroom Head Jig sources?
The mold isn't that expensive and pays for itself quickly considering the price of the things. I pour my own and have been really happy with them.

Does everyone only!
Nah, trick worms, mag finesse worms, french fries, flukes, pretty much whatever I have if they're eating it.

Whopper Plopper 110
No you don't "need" one, but we really don't "need" most of the baits we buy do we? Get a 110 and give it a try, I think you'll like it.

Most versatile swimbait rod?
It's a little different with swimbaits than it is with cranks. The hooks on all but the biggest crankbaits are pretty small and thin so they penetrate easily. With big swimbaits, some of your trebles are nearly as thick as a spinnerbait hook, so it takes more force to drive them in. There's also a lot less playing a fish out on swimbait gear. If you play with a big fish on a swimbait, it's not a matter of if it will come off, but when. They just can get way too much leverage on those big, heavy baits during the fight if you don't land them quickly. I fish baits up to around 3oz on a Dobyn's Fury 795, baits in the 2-5oz range on an Okuma Guide Select, anything bigger goes on a custom build.

Top one is Perch, bottom is Sun Gill. These are from a custom bait company I buy from because they sell in bulk and offer lots of colors and baits.

How long will bass live out of water / fish handling
I've seen deer take an arrow throw both lungs run 4 football fields at a dead sprint before expiring. Probably dead before they even stopped running but operating on pure adrenaline. Animals have a survival instinct to get away from dangerous situations, even when mortally wounded. This is the same I try to do. If I need to work a hook out of fish, I'll dip them back in the water for a moment between trying to get the hook out, although it rarely takes more than a few seconds to remove even the worse hooked fish if I have the proper tools with me.

Latr sept fishing help
I've been using a 4.8 Keitech swing impact fat a lot lately with fish starting to target the big gizzard shad around here. You'd probably do well with the same bait in a firetiger or similar color if you have yellow perch or bluegills as a main forage in your lake.
