Best source to buy 100 count treble hooks?
Captain hooks is where I buy almost all my hooks from trebles, jig hooks, wacky rig, and worm hooks.

Whats your opinion on Pfuleger Reels?
The Supreme XT's are plenty smooth for me. I haven't used a Stradic since they changed from the white ones so I don't know how they compare to the newer ones.

Why are St. Croix rods so thick compared to lesser rods that are also good?
You're comparing a $400 rod to a $130 rod though, or a hammer than is 4x as heavy. A heavier rod will be likely be tenths of an ounce difference. A thicker rod can actually be lighter because it has thin walls and then it's just air in the middle. I've owned and fished St Croix rods from the Triumph to the LTBs , they're all nice, and their durability has been great, and so is their customer service. Use what you like, but don't get caught up on a rod being thicker meaning it's heavier.

Fishing the full moon at night
It's mainly Sasquatch and chupacabras around here. They don't bother me though, except when Bigfoot throws rocks at my boat.

Whats your opinion on Pfuleger Reels?
The Supreme I have is a 5.4:1, they're only $100 full price, but I only paid $60 for mine. Also available in 6.4.

Anyone tried the new Teckel USA SPRINKER FROG?
Haven't made it out with my dad yet, but I did get to give one a test run Thursday, it's an impressive bait.

10 pound straight braid for wacky rig ?
I use 15lb straight braid for mine, even in clear water. 15lb braid is so thin that I don't feel the fish can see it very well, and I have no problem catching them without a leader so I don't worry about it.

Telescopic lure retriever?
I use one with the coiled wire and have saved tons of baits as well as retrieving lots of other people's lost lures out of trees. The biggest benefit I can see of the coil over that one, the hooks often catch on the wire and allow me to pull the lure free. It seems with that one, if you can't push the lure free, it's still going to be stuck. So when you catch a ball of old fishing line, or bury a crankbait hook in a stump that felt like a fish, it's not going to do you any good most likely, but the coiled version could catch the hooks and you can pull hard enough to straighten the hook and retrieve the bait.

I'm curious as to why it matters? All I care is that a rod performs as it should and how I expect it to.

Fluorocarbon for frogs?
It's a nightmare trying to fish a frog slow on anything other than braid. Fluoro pulls the nose of the frog down because it sinks and makes the frog want to dive under on the twitch instead of moving forward or walking.

I got to enjoy the bright moon on my drive into work tonight

Chatterbait fishing
I like solid white with a solid chartreuse trailer. It's a great bait in clear water believe it or not.

Live bait
I used to catch lots of bass pitching weightless live nightcrawlers to docks on light spinning tackle, some big ones too. If the fishing is tough, there's a good chance I could catch more fish doing that than I could with a wacky rigged senko or whatever other bait someone wants to try. Most days, an artificial in the hands of a skilled fisherman is going to out produce live bait because they can be presented faster and in places/ways that live bait cannot.

Whats your opinion on Pfuleger Reels?
I was a Shimano guy, but their shenanigans the last several years has pushed me away. I sold most all of my newer Shimanos (kept my old B series, 1 CI4 Stradic, 1 E, and 2 70 size I's), and replaced them with Pfluegar. Currently running 5 President spinning reels, 3 Supreme XT spinning reels, 4 President baitcasters, 1 supreme baitcaster, 1 President XT baitcaster, and 7 Supreme XT baitcasters. Not sure exactly what you're wanting to know about them, but I've been really happy with them.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I just got some #4 and #6 hooks to pour some Midwest Finesse heads. They're tiny, but I'm interested to see how they work.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Had some luck on the new Sprinker frog on Thursday. I wouldn't spend the crazy money some folks are for them, but for the $14 I paid, they're pretty awesome.
