Favorite Bait to Wacky Rig?
If money is no object, a Strike King Ocho. Since money always is an object, a BPS Stick O or YUM Dinger.

Small bass on big swimbait?
Fish don't have mirrors, they have no idea how big they are, or aren't.

Live target crankbaits?
They get me about every time. Last time it was their swimbaits they just came out with. I swear it won't happen again, until the next time.

Rage Mini Menace Availability
I was hoping for a Magnum Menace

Let's talk Lipless
Most of my lipless bait fishing is less than 5' of water, as shallow as 1'. I fish them mostly during the fall, winter, and spring around rocks and across flats and points. I like to yo-yo a Red Eye Shad, or burn a Booyah One Knocker. Banging them through rip-rap is a good way to get bit too.

Anyone else try glide baits on the bottom?
I'll let my Shine Glide sink down a few feet and fish it slow, but it's still a few feet off the bottom when I do that. Open treble hooks dangling along the bottom just sounds like a recipe for heartbreak.

Imakatsu Bassroid
I want a gillpop so bad, but I've never caught many fish on any gill baits except the SG 3D gill. That gillpop is sure a killer in my head though, so many places I can picture it getting smoked by a big bass, but the same thing happened with my Deps Bullshooter Jr, and that never materialized.

When you fish a walking style top water....
Sort of, only much faster.

Weighted Wacky Rig
I use a weighted wacky hook to wacky rig trick worms.

Girlfriend and hobbies?
I dated a girl like that. Didn't want me to go fishing, so I'd stay home with her and she never wanted to do anything, then she'd complain she was bored and get mad because I didn't have any ideas of what we could go do (all I wanted to do was go fishing). There's nothing you can do to make it better. Be ready to give up fishing or give her up, those are really the only options. Thing is, if you find a new hobby, she'll probably be disapproving with that too, just how that type of person is.

Kansas Bass Fishing
Not much available around Leavenworth, and some of the ones that are there you have to buy a special permit to fish them. I'd look around here a bit and see if you can find something appealing. http://ksoutdoors.com/Fishing/Where-to-Fish-in-Kansas

Weather was pretty awful on my days off, to go with really high and muddy water from the several inches of rain we've recently got, but still managed to grind out some nice ones. I do like 1 thing about muddy water, most rods I had out either day was 4. Spinnerbait and jig were doing the most damage, especially on the bigger fish. Got my dad into his first few jig fish ever, including this solid little chunk. Bonus that his store bought jig wasn't working, then he started catching when I gave him one of my homemade jigs.

How Many?
Make it 3 100 fish days on the year after yesterday

What made you rage the most?
I had a guy yell at me for cutting him off in a tournament last year. I was dumbfounded because he was so far down the bank when I pulled in that I didn't even know he was there. I was pretty hot about it the rest of the day. I think he was mad because I'd caught a keeper right before we crossed paths. Ended up winning the tournament, want to guess who was in second place? Just to prove he was a real bag, as me and @gardnerjigman were carrying our 3 18" keepers back to the water, we crossed paths with the guy who had just turned his 2 keepers loose and he pipes up with "Are any of those fish actually 18"?" I about chewed my tongue off but managed to just reply that they'd measured on the TD's board, and that's all that really matters. I checked on Google maps when I got home that day, we'd be AT LEAST 750' down the bank from where the guy was fishing on a 2,600 acre lake with a 20 boat tournament and recreational fishermen on the water. I guess I thought a couple football fields of space should have been enough.

Yesterday was a sad day in the fishing world
Love his show, especially the ones with Hackney. The guy just always seems to be having so much fun and loving life really. It's a nice break from the usual kind of rigid show host. Always does something every episode that gets me laughing. I'll be missing his show for sure.

I've been catching crappies on a 5" wacky rigged stick worm in the neighbors pond lately. Last week they were hitting everything I threw, so much so I got frustrated with catching them and left. Caught crappie on a 1.5, 127 slender pointer, 3/4oz football jig with a Rage lobster, shakyhead, ned rig, spinnerbait, didn't matter they ate it all. I had a guide trip today and got on one of the craziest, funnest bites I've ever found. There was what I thought was wipers blowing up on shad inside the off limits area on a power plant lake, just as far as I could cast a jigging spoon. They were big fish alright, but I was pretty shocked when we started boating blue and channel cats that were busting shad on the surface on jigging spoons. No monsters, I had one 14 pound blue, all the rest were under 10 pounds, but they were some of the hardest, jarring strikes I've ever had and of course the fights were great on bass gear. And of course we had several big drum throughout the day too.

Not sure what I did wrong. Bass died!
That's what I was guessing but it's only happened to little fish forme, never a big one like the OP is asking about.

A possible change in the zinkerz's formula
I haven't but our lakes have been so muddy this spring that I haven't hardly thrown one.

A possible change in the zinkerz's formula
I've had good luck with them on a C rig.

Not sure what I did wrong. Bass died!
Correct, not in the gullet, but pretty far back.
