Hey everyone. So I personally am a huge fan of throwing a wacky worm. I could throw that all day if the fish out biting. Im curious as to what some peoples favorite baits to wacky rig are. I obviously wacky rig a senko or stick bait and recently have been wacky rigging trick worms and the slow fall destroys bass sometimes. It can be very hit or miss but when its on its on!

Recently, on one of those boring days that leads you to experimente, i discovered that a wacky rigged Zoom The Fluke (the ones without the split belly) works very, very, good!

 

 

PS- But the good ol Senko is still my favorite...

 

- Zoom 4.5" Finesse Worm  (high visibility)

- Zoom 6.5" Trick Worm

- Gambler 5.0" Ace             (stickworm)

That's why I posted this was to see if anyone would give me some good ideas lol. I might have to try that sounds like it would be a pretty solid bait

It does burn through worms though, it's good that Trick Worms come in packs of 20.  

I wacky rig yum dingers and savage gear armour worms more than anything else.

Well, how about a Zoom Z-drop drop shot worm, wacky rigged on a 1/16 oz Z-man ned rig head?

 

On really hot (high 90's) Georgia August afternoon when I was a little delirious from the heat and not getting bit on the drop shot, I mixed up what finesse stuff I had at hand that started with a "Z" - wacky style.  Caught two bass on it in super clear shallow water.  

 

Using the morning dawn color Z-drop.

This sounds like a pretty good thing to try. I think a lot of people think that a wacky rig is limited to stick baits but theres a lot of other things that bass havent seen that could be awesome techniques. This is something im definitley going to try!

If your gonna fish Lake Prince, you better throw a crankbait, instead of the weightless stuff, at least for the bass 4+

If money is no object, a Strike King Ocho. Since money always is an object, a BPS Stick O or YUM Dinger.

I saw I Youtube vid on the Bass Resource channel where the guy said he prefers these over the Senkos because of durability.  Im going with this!

I like the Yum Dingers for < 4'.  They are slow to sink, and I think that's a good thing for shallow, clear water.  I like OG senkos for deeper stuff, up to 10'.  If I'm wacky jigging, I like the Jackall Flick Shake worms.

Try a Yum swimmin' dinger. It may seem odd but the boot tail makes it shimmy on the way down. You have to rig it so it falls upright which is a bit tricky but it really works.
