Live target crankbaits?
They're a gimmick imo. Sure they'll catch fish, but not any better than other baits.

Terminal tackle buy list
Is there a brand hook you're wanting to stay with? I fish almost all Eagle Claw hooks. For the price you're saying, I can get you a 500 pack for a couple bucks more for the 4/0, few bucks less for the 3/0. This is for their Lazer Magworm hook that are comparable to Gamakatsu Superline hooks imo. Size Count Price Qty Total 2/0 3/0 4/0 5/0 100 500 1000 $71.50 X = $71.50 $57.20 Their hook quality has jumped by leaps and bounds, they're not the Eagle Claw hooks most people think of when they hear the name, (they do make Trokar afterall). For sinkers, I use a mix of lead, brass, and tungsten. Brass is for C-rigs, Tungsten for fishing vegetation, lead for everything else. I'd probably just get the large bobber stops so you don't have to worry about them being too small. Some tungsten weights have pretty large holes through them.

Will they bite again?
I know for a fact that they won't bite again if you don't try.

Pics of your most worn out lures
Can't find the more recent picture of this one, since it really got worn in. I was just scratching the surface at this point.

Anyone Still Using Berkley Havoc Baits?
I have 5 12" pegs on my pegboard filled with 2 different colors of Pit Bosses and I'm always on the hunt for more since they discontinued them. There's 3 more of those pegs with other assorted colors of Pit Bosses too. The Flat Dawg, Deuce, Subwoofer, Grass Pig, Jerk, Rocket Craw, Devil's Spear, carry a bunch of all of them and use them a lot. I hate what they're doing with pushing the more popular baits to the Powerbait lineup. One of the biggest appealing factors about them is the price of the lineup, but that goes away when they nearly double in price just because they put powerbait scent on them.
- What's your go to technique that you have most confidence in?

I need a company name for a spinnerbaits, jig and marabou making company? Can someone help me out?
Got an extra crystal ball laying around so we can tell when someone is going to be a one post wonder? If folks would leave them alone instead of feeding the trolls and bumping the post they could quietly retreat back to the basement and complain that nobody wants to play with them.

Clear water
Welcome! In most cases with really clear water, I like to stick to small plastics in natural colors with very little action. Something like a watermelon/purple flake tube or finesse worm, or a smoke grub.

Well hey dere!
Wow, long time now see! Welcome back!

Favorite Lure To Use in the Spring or Summer.
Same as my favorite bait to use any other time of year, a jig.

Not Cool
Just boat flip all your fish so he doesn't have a chance to touch them.

Football Jigs
That deal might have ended but I'm sure you could show him a picture and get one tied up no problem.

Protecting your equipment
I use rod and reel covers when I'm hauling mine. Usually they're in the rod locker. If I'm hauling them anywhere else, they're in the passenger seat of my truck. Extended cab Tundra fits any bass rod I own.

Berkley Fusion 19 and VMC Weighted Swimbait Hooks
I've had issues with rolling the points on the Fusion worm hooks. I really like the trebles though.

Spro Fat Johns
This one seemed to like the chart/black back 60 I was throwing.

Go to confidence drop shot plastics
The YUM Warning Shot is the only DS bait I've been able to get bit on somewhat consistently. I spend most of my time constantly reminding myself that the weight is like the anchor on a boat, you only pick it up when you want to fish a different spot and it shouldn't be bouncing along the bottom.

Football Jigs
I make my own, this is my favorite color, which is my namesake color in Siebert's Storm Series jigs.

The Ned Rig Resource
Check out the Owner Rig N hook. They come in really small sizes but with a good gap for the fat little bait.

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Well I took this past weekend off to do some fishing on my birthday weekend. Ended up being a stay at home with the family weekend thanks to the beautiful weather. I fished La Cygne on Thursday. The crappie were just stupid, eating everything that touched the water. Never had an issue with crappie like that before, couldn't even get a bait to the bass. I did sneak one decent one on a jerkbait before I got tired of fighting with the crappie and left. I tried to go to Pleasanton West, which is usually good for a couple nice fish if you only have a short time. I lost a 3 pounder off the pier by the ramp, and that was the closest I got to catching a fish there. I had a really hard bite on a jig, hammered a very solid feeling fish, then it was gone, would have liked to at least see that one. Friday I decided to explore Clinton for the first time. Conditions were less than ideal, but I was still pretty happy with my results. I missed getting several fish on film because my remote wasn't working and the persistent rain falling.

Making catfish bait from floating fish food
My grandpa used to feed his catfish cat food with holes in the middle. I'd just thread several on a hook and flip it out where he fed them. I've heard of guys tying pieces to hooks or you can use a piece of pantyhose with some of the food in the middle.

Who uses face shields
I wear one all the time on the water. May not look the coolest, but it looks way better than skin cancer.

So I was unprepared for this fish
At that length and not appearing overly fat, I'd guess around 6 pounds. Great fish regardless of weight!

How Many?
No idea how many I've caught total this year. I've had 2 100+ fish days so far though. I'd trade a big numbers day for a few big ones any day though. My best most recent day I don't know if I even caught 20, but my biggest 5 went over 20 pounds so it was a really good day for me.
