Shaky Head vs Ned Rig
Don't let the small size fool you into thinking the Ned rig is a small fish only bait. I won a tournament last year with a Ned rig, and I've even won big bass in a tournament with a Ned rig.

Whopper plopper 90 vs 130
I own several of both in T1000, Munkey Butt, Bone, Sooner, I Know it, and Shad. They've all been good baits for both numbers and size.

Favorite plastics for skipping docks
Beaver or a stick worm. Ned rig is a great skipping bait too.

Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ Rip Bait
I own several, all the Berkley hard baits have been solid but these are one of the top 3 for sure. I bought one of them at the Classic at Grand Lake that barely has any paint left on it I've caught so many fish with it. The hooks are great too, which is always a big plus when I can fish it with confidence right out of the package.

Pre - Spawn : Your Favorite Lure Plans This Year ?
Jerkbaits and spinnerbaits are what I usually fish the most during prespawn, although a football jig caught me the largest bass I've caught in a few years 2 weeks ago.

Live footage of me on Thanksgiving
Gulpers are incredible fish. Have to wonder if their prey evens considers them a danger until it's too late.

No In Water Test Drive
When I was boat shopping I'd found one I really liked, planned on buying it after a test drive. The guy that owned it said he'd paid $400 to have it winterized (my first clue he might not know what he was talking about), and that he wouldn't let me run it because he didn't want to pay to have it done a second time. I told him I wouldn't buy it without running it, but he stayed firm even when I offered to pay part of the cost to have it winterized again if I didn't want to buy it. I'm sure he sold it eventually, but no matter how much I wanted that boat, there was no way I was taking it home without even hearing it run.

Favorite Times of Day?
Normally it's after it starts to warm up later in the day, but the last 2 times I've been out, it's been best early on before noon despite it still being cold out.

Polarized Sunglasses - are they all the same?!?
I've used several cheaper brands, Revo, Costa, Oakley, and WileyX. The clarity you get with higher end lenses is a very noticeable difference. If it's worth it all depends on the user.

Duo Realis jerkbaits
That's really the only water I've been fishing it in and it works well for some reason. I think maybe the bait just looks different and provides a big profile that they have to inspect it.

SMALLIE -NADO
I remember catching my biggest largemouth of the year several years ago about 30 minutes after a tornado had hit about a mile from the lake I was fishing. Not that I'd suggest going out during those conditions, but I did and the bite was red hot for awhile.

Drop Shot w/ Jig for Smallies?
All it did for me was allow me to lose baits twice as fast. I may try it again with a tube this year though. I liked the concept more because of how many followers I get on an average day while fishing for smallmouths.
