Any White Bass Fisherman Here?
Caught several of them Friday. They're not my favorite but they can sure save a day when the bass aren't cooperating.

Starting out pouring Ned heads
I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to be modified. If it does it would be a very tiny amount. Pretty sure I have a couple of the keepers that I could check if they fit in my mold.

Gliss Monotex Line ~ A Brief Review
I don't feel like Gliss would be a good option for casting gear from my experience with it. Or maybe I should say I think you'll negate the benefits of a line like Gliss with casting gear.

What type of Bass am I holding here?
OP, where was the fish caught? I agree that it does look a bit like a meanmouth and they do occur naturally in some lakes in Missouri. I've only ever caught 1 but I've seen several caught at Table Rock and I couldn't have gotten a much worse picture of it.

Technique specific rods?
I had that rod for awhile and it made a pretty good pitching rod around sparse cover. Honestly felt it was too stiff to fish a spinnerbait very well.

Tell Me About Pre Spawn
I don't fish for those ones I can see during prespawn. I look for spawning areas and fish around the first drops and edges that fish will follow up into them once they start spawning.

last day on the donkey farm
Stay safe over there man! You can always send me the location of those freak bass so I can keep an eye on them for you while you're gone

Early Spring
You throw them long enough and a bass will eat them. I caught a few on the new Savage Gear 3D bluegill here in Kansas last week with water temps around 50.

Brand loyalty (reels)
I have Shimano, Lew's, Abu, Pfluegar, Pinnacle, H2O, Daiwa, and Okuma, so I guess you could say I'm pretty brand loyal

Cutting off the tail of the Scum Frog
Best thing to do with a Scum Frog is to cut it off and tie on a Pad Crasher. I never messed with the tail of one but they usually mat up and have to be cut off before too long anyways.

Post your favorite lake picture
Not very, 100 acres maybe but it's mostly canals so it goes on forever. It was a really awesome place.

Is tuning a crankbait a thing of the past?
Had a jerkbait bounce off the rocks last week that hit nose first and almost bent the tie flat against the baits face. Took a while to get it running straight again. Still get one out of the box that's out of tune occasionally.

I love braid, but...
Do you catch fish on straight braid, enough to be happy anyways? If yes then I wouldn't worry about it.

Got the same thing yesterday.

Savage Gear 3D Bluegill
I had the bottom treble on and the bottom is covered in moss so I never let it hit bottom. It seems like it would fall over though. I was fishing it on a Dobyn's Fury 795, Curado 300E, 20lb Big Game.

Starting out pouring Ned heads
I've seen it done and it works pretty well.

Starting out pouring Ned heads
Never fished the Shrooms head but the Eagle Claws will straighten but not really easily. I rarely have a chance to put that much pressure on then thanks to all the zebra mussels.

Starting out pouring Ned heads
I actually like the head without the collar so I can glue the bait straight to the bottom of the head. Gets much more surface contact and stays up better, which makes the bait last longer. Love those hooks. All of Eagle Claw's new stuff is the best bang for the buck hooks out there right now IMO. I've switched to almost exclusively their black platinum line of hooks. Hopefully they'll come out with a good round bend round bend black platinum treble soon so I can stop buying so many Owner's.

Any interest in an online BR kayak/canoe tourney?
I like this option and I think he should wear water wings and a sun bonnet too
