  1. It is very possible that where you are fishing really doesn't have any fish right now, especially if the portion of the river you're on has current and nowhere for the fish to hide from it.
  2. It says right on Spro's website " wide wobbling hunting action". Sounds like that's exactly what they were going for. Regardless, in the case of the ones I have anyways, they are not wide wobbling, nor do they "hunt". I think it will be a good bait, as long as you aren't hoping for a bait similar to a wiggle wart.
  3. X2, I have that exact combo. You could get the whole thing for under $100 too.
  4. H2O Express has a couple different cranking rods. I have the 7' MH/M I bought for $40 while it was on sale and it's a really nice cranking rod. I like it a lot better than I liked the BPS stick.
  5. Buy from a tackle store on Ebay with a high rating and you should be fine. I've bought several reels like that and never had an issue.
  6. I don't know if anything would top this for me.
  7. Mine was a very short and fat 5.89lb largemouth that thumped a 5/8oz homemade black and blue brush jig with a 3.5" black and blue Zman Batwingz trailer.
  8. What size swimbaits are you wanting to fish? Do you mean the boot tails like a Shadalicious or something like the Huddlestons?
  9. Yep, that's where I bought mine from, not in stock yet. Supposed to be there next week I believe.
  10. Yeah if you have a beef with a company you need to take it up with them, not complain about it on here. LOCKDOWN!
  11. It's 11.3" and the one in the dash now is really small.
  12. You mean like in the cutout in the dash? There's not much area on the console to mount it.
  13. How would I put it in the dash?
  14. I have 2 of them on the way for my boat. As far as I know they aren't even in stores yet.
  15. That was the other thing I was just reading, that the 1.5" ball might now be big enough to hold it in place. What about the bent arm ones? I think I'm going to need one for my console unit because there's not really anywhere to mount it on the top of the console like I had in my old boat, but there's a small area on the side where I think I could mount one and let it swing out over the side of the boat.
  16. What size base am I going to need for my new Garmins? https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/on-the-water/fishfindergpscombos/echomap-93sv/prod169429.html I'm guessing I'll need the 11" plate but not positive if I can get away with a smaller one. Bad thing is I'm having a hard time finding a Ram mount with a 9" base (approximately the same width as the mount of the depthfinder), they're pretty much 6.5" or 11". Huge difference in price so if I could get away with a 6.5" would be great but I didn't spend the money on these units to beat them up in an undersized mount.
  17. It does have day and night options on the lighting screen so it doesn't look like a spotlight at night.
  18. I use up to 20 but will go to 25 if it's really nasty cover. I use Sunline Super mostly. 15 is about my favorite size for worms.
  19. Those Owners Paul is talking about are awesome hooks and much thinner wire than any other full size flipping jig and they're so sharp that it takes nothing to bury them. I actually reeled into a fish with one that I didn't know was there and it stuck like I'd swung on it.
  20. $35 is pocket change for a good hard body swimbait.
  21. I get the boat back Monday from it's checkup with new plugs, impeller, and a hot foot!
