I agree with the others, well said fishbear. Ronnie, I think you hit the nail on the head; as long as every problem we have is someone elses fault with no accountability, we continue down a slippery slope.

Catt We had a lot of damage and some folks are still without power, but compared to Katrina it was just a scratch. I was very lucky, and I am not speaking for Dink, but if you compare my pictures to yours I think they speak for themselves:

Dink Glad you finally have power. This was the worst ice storm I've ever seen. I was one of the lucky ones in my area not to lose power. Every tree in my yard suffered at least some damage-the bigger ones major damage. My TV antenna was destroyed, but I don't think any roof damage was done. I won't know for sure until the ice melts. :-/ The pole shed in the lot next to mine was pancaked. Did you have any damage done to your place? Good to have you back.

That is very cool. Having a daughter of my own (she's 26 now) your story makes me happy also. It won't be long and she'll have you wrapped around her finger-she probably already has.

Ron_C I have not had any personal dealing with our own ReelMech, but the first place I would start if I were in a position to buy a custom rod would be with him.
