the two rivers I have listed as my favorite are like that deepest spots are small bends that get maybe 4foot deep most of it is 2foot deep I like to throw flukes, grubs, light light jigs and tubes

I love being a 11 bang bang or grunt or what ever ya wanna call us but this deployment absolutely ruined it for me first pushing it back a year then a week before we leave they cancel the Afghanistan mission and tell us were not deploying anylonger then a few weeks later just before Christmas get a call to be ready were leaving in a month this time to go to Kuwait. Then half way threw mobilization they take half the brigade send em home then take us remaining split us again half go to Afghanistan half to Kuwait now you would think they would ya know with all this sht happening over there send the guys who are good at shooting sht. nooooo lets send some engineers, and mechanics and we'll send the MP's and Infantry to Kuwait Naval base I don't understand

my wife does the same thing to her parents bout the TP we will be walking out and forget were out and to lazy or to late to run to wal mart she takes everything they have lol.

yeah my wife is taking it hard They came to me on my radio shift and asked me if i wanted to stay in and extend because there's a sign on bonus again and they opened up more 11B slots with the draw down but still need infantry I lust laughed and handed my packet back in blank.

wow this has got to be the best fathers day ever getting told our leave is canceled and we arnt going home to our family's till "hopefully" around Christmas maybe later. We've been on this roller coaster ride of suspended then good then suspended then good ride of if we get to go on leave or not. Now we just had a meeting and its out right canceled. lets just say there's alot of tension in the air plus we got a group of guys coming back tonight after being on leave for nearly 3 weeks if they know whats good for em they wont even mention they ever left and just roll right back into the ******* were receiving. I wouldn't mind if it was just the wife I mean id be mad and upset but it would easier to handle then telling my 3 year old who every time we skype asks me why im gone so long and if im ever coming home and if i love him. Hes always asking me to come home and take him fishing and iv been telling him next month in a few weeks and he gets all exited now I gotta tell him not till probably next year it sucks. All because apparently our orders just say not to exceed 400 days but not something bout minimum number of days or some BS like that. I guess there anticipating fights to break out to because they got MP's all over the place and told us any fist fights will result in an article 15, jail time, and assault and battery charges and that if were gonna do it do it in the barracks and don't let the MP's find out. I don't plan on getting into a fight but i may verbally lay into some one everyone's about to snap though some guys are out a few grand had marriage proposals all planned at Yankee stadium all kinds of stuff me I just wanted to go see me kids my leave was on my youngest sons 1st birthday. Some one just said its on the news back home also about how were getting screwed over. ugh ok rant over I was just talking today about maybe going active or extending my guard contract another 6 years think this just made up my mind after all the other times we've got the shaft. at least we still have EIB to go for but with our luck they will cancel that too

I got the best fathers day gift of all, the Army has decided today to cancel our leave and extend our stay here what an awesome fathers day and they wondered why i handed in my reenlistment blank and denied any further promotions only a year left.

holy crap them are some giant perch that 3rd and 4th from the right my lord look at them things there bigger then the bass i think ur holding up the wrong fish to show off

mines stripper, redfish, marlin of any kind, shark of any kind, muskie, a big grouper i did catch one last week but it wasn't very big like 12", basically any of the inshore saltwater fish also with a fly rod

where abouts is this i may hit it up when i make it home

i see some one else frequents the chive i just seen that this morning on there catching up on what iv missed over the past few days

theres a few spots i fish whether from the bank or the canoe I take one of my rifles because theres alot of woodchucks/groundhogs need killen in them spots and occasionaly if i go salmon fishing at my buddies the slug gun is on my back waiting to get a deer pushed to me and im his added insurance they dont cross the river onto the other property line iv gotten a few this way all doe trying to make a break for the river in the shallows.

yup I just got the email from abu and am all ready entered in the give away for it it was a nice surprise i left for the gym with no new emails and came back to the new revo line up in my email

i haven't fished there in probably 15 years before it got cleaned up but iv drove by and looked at it and walked around but never fished it and have seen good 2-3# bass cruising but like said its deep very deep I last checked it out last summer.

pretty much the same as i throw minus the rod and reel i use a revo sx and veritas 7'6MH PP#50 rage craw or space monkey for a trailer. also try a stanley ribbit for a trailer iv had amazing results with that as well

oh yeah iv had that problem after seeing bassresources video last year on how to rig and throw the double fluke rig. i'll try other lures but if they don't get bit in like a couple casts im grabbing that double fluke and throwing that again.

I have them and love them iv tried them a few times for punching but threw lilly pads I caught alot of northern pike but that's all I caught that day every where no mater what I threw. They come back clean depending on knot and line iv noticed braid seems to always come back clean with a palomar knot flouro though seems to grab a tiny bit nothing major.

we had a few we bought off the locals they were probably 1.5ozs easily and they worked great but we started with 3 one for each of us one guy lost his on a snag then one guy lost his on a big queen fish then I watched a shark chase mine as I tried to burn it in as I realized I did have a leader sharks swim faster then I can reel and i seen it open up then I reeled in slack empty line I wasn't happy. I ordered some off BPS also cant remember what they were called they were kinda like a long skinny square shape tapered at each end with chrome stickers on it they seem to work really well for the queens and needle fish bite it but there a SOB to hook with the spoons we have better luck using bait fish and letting them swallow it and just cut the line and release them if a local doesn't come take it first. But them heavy spoons worked great cast it out let it sink and just rip it back with a series of jerks and u just see masive schools of Queens swarming it beating the crap out of it almost every cast.

its funny you say that because we got our German Shepard a few month back I was joking to train it to attack my mom he hates my sister but loves my mom. I guess my mom "let her self in" to the house when my wife wasn't home and tided up ad waited for her to come home so she could see the kids and i flipped asking what the dog did and I guess he just went up and licked her d**n guard dog fail.

hey I did have my ice fishing stuff sent here it works great for catching bait fish

I usually go into DSG or gander and ask to see a reel thats not on display or have the take it off and mount it on a rod and see how i like it most of the time there cool with it so far iv never been told no i cant do that. I did this with the revo mgx I played with they let me get one out of a box and mounted it on a 7'6 veritas and fell in love.

does any one here pour lead jigging spoons like big ones 1-2oz. They work great hear in Kuwait for Queenfish but iv lost all mine to sharks and snags and the hadji shop is all out and the ones I got off ebay were way to small so i figured id see if anyone here can make some up for me. they looked like this but much much bigger and flashy
