  2. Ask my wife about squirrel juice Been over twenty years ago, and she'll still cuss me for that one
  3. Give that kid an 'A'. His kind are getting fewer and farther between.
  4. Hmmm, bite must be off....
  5. Yurt?? Looks like a fancy quonset hut to me. The little house would be ok for a weekender, no way I'd live in it....
  6. Well, you didn't say what engine you have, so..... There is more to it than making spark. Some engines are actually very picky about the plugs they will run. If your engine manu. says you can use NGK's, then by all means run 'em. Personally, if it came with Champions, I'd stick with them. Never let the counter-monkeys make a decision for you. All they know is what the computer tells them....
  7. I've got one, didn't pay that much for it, off season sale. Use it for both spin and b/c reels. Absolutly love it. After filling a spinning reel, tie on a ball swivel, attach to a tree, pole, ect, and walk the line off. You can then use the rod tip to put some tension on the line as you reel back up.Simple.
  8. Isn't there enough hype during football season, without carrying it over to fishing season
  9. I've been fishing twice this year. Today is the last day of my vacation, and I still have not been
  10. Bwwaaaa Haaa Haa! Dat wuz good one!
  11. Bigger isn't always better...duh For the last few years I've been bank fishing with a off the shelf backpack, complete with wheels and pull-up handle. 1 3750, 3 3650's, worm binder, even had room for a small fold-out camp stool! Not too heavy, and worked great. But last year, when I finally got my jalopy of a boat in the water, the bp just took up too much real estate, esp. if anyone was with me. Really small for a 14 footer. So, this year I decided to downsize. Figured I could cull the camp stool Price being very important, I settled on the new Plano Fishoflage bag available at Wallyworld. They have three sizes, large/small bags and a fannypack deal. I got the smaller of the two bags. Seems to be well built, thick canvas, zippers are fair. Comes with 4-3650 boxes. Two front pockets, side pockets, clear plastic zip-up under the top. Shoulder strap is a little long for me, and can't be removed. One of the front pockets has a little pocket for your license, and a velcro doohickey for a minimag, clip for keys. Nice.... I was able to cull my selections down to 3 of the boxes, with room for the worm binder. Really made me consider what I use on a trip, and what was dead weight. Unfortunatly, I have not got to use it on the boat yet :'( Lack of tow vehicle sucks! And I've only had one chance to go hit the bank. But the new bag was great. Just my .02 worth 8-)
  12. Hit LM this morning. Grn Pumkin trick on a shakey head worked for me.
  13. Serves her right for not knowing her equipment. ;D
  14. ;D Might be something to that!
  15. Fooey. I can deal with the cereal 'n chip bags, it's those *&%$ pull-top cans that get me.
  16. Nice. Never been a big Sig fan, but.... Love my Combat Commander. Buddy I bought it from still wants it back. He sold it to get cash to buy a Glock, then hated the thing ;D Years ago, I horse-traded into a Norinco 1911 style pistol, chambered in .30cal carbine! Reasonable to shoot, but too heavy to carry. Didn't keep it long.
  17. Yep, got fish on the brain here. Might have to hit the bank soon, but it'll be toward the end of April before I can do the needed glass work on my boat and get it wet. <<)))(((>>
  18. I've thought about using glue, but figgered it'd be hard to cast with the knot stuck to my fingers!
  19. Palomar for hooks, trilene for jigs/cranks...ever tried to tie a palomar on a 6" redfin? ;D
  20. Don't know that the moon will help, but in that cool of water, S-L-O-W , and maybe smaller.
