Joe Flaccos Getting Paid
He played an awesome game and deserved the MVP, but I don't think he's the number one QB in the league. He had quite a few shaky games during the season. Flacco is a great QB, but this contract is insane. Hopefully he doesn't follow the same down slide that many do after getting paid.

What Did You Ingest That Wasn't What You Thought It Was?
Rockey Mountain oysters. . . never again. . . Worked at a local grocery store in high school on the stock crew. We had this giant dbag that worked with us. We had the brilliant idea to put the lemon flavored mag citrate (laxitive) into his 44 oz cup of lemonade. We then decided to remove all of the toilet paper from all of the mens restrooms, and what we couldn't remove we soaked with water. Needless to say once he figured out what happened he left. The overnight supervisor, though unpleased with our tactics, had a good laugh with us.

I'll Never Forget The Time...
At least he doesn't sleep on your face like my worthless cat does. Well, maybe he's not worthless, he keeps my face warm! He also likes to sit on the night stand and stare at us. Creeps me out when I wake up and this 20lb cat is just staring at me with some twisted serial killer look on his face. . . The one moment that scared me the most was when the girlfriend woke me up and said she heard someone breaking into the house. I grab my S&W and flashlight from the night stand and head down the hall while she loads up the shotgun. Once I determine no one is in the house I check the windows to make sure they are locked and check the front and back door. That's when I realize the "intruder" was the wind blowing the screen door open because it didn't latch.

Prop Question. Which Direction It Spins?
I've been using stainless for a few years now and love it! It takes a beating with not much wear to show for it. My spare aluminum prop looks like a lawn mower blade after mowing a rock quarry. . . I'll stick with my stainless.

New Techniques
I want to work on my jerkbait fishing mostly because I would like to do some cold water fishing this year. I focused on square bills last year, so maybe some deep divers and lipless cranks this year. . . I haven't decided yet.

Are There Some Baits You Just Won't Use?
I have to agree with you on the A rig. Never owned one and have no intention of purchasing one. I also have never thrown a swimbait. No reason behind the swimbait really. Guess I just figured it would serve me better to improve on the techniques I already know and use.

Spouses
Mine prefers the nap time she gets when I take the kid fishing, and that is the only interest she has shown in fishing and the outdoors. Luckily I have a very interested 9 year old who loves to explore the outdoors with me.

Lure Of The Classic!
I have never been a big jerkbait fisherman mostly due to the fact that I never started fishing in colder water situations until just last year. I have picked up a few here and there to try out this year though. I am more impressed by roadwarrior's and 11justin22's outings than the lure being used in the Classic. I would base my buying patterns off of what ordinary people here have had success with, not what lure supposedly won the classic.

What Concert Have You Liked The Most?
Journey and Def Leppard put on a pretty awesome show a few years ago. Clapton wasn't bad, but it was a low energy show that kinda plodded along. The best show I've seen though would have to be Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I've seen them 3 times now. Has got to be one of the most amazing lighting shows you can see, with some pretty sweet music to boot.

Harlem Shake: Bassmasters Classic
If thinking this is retarded makes my life boring then I welcome the boredom.

Harlem Shake: Bassmasters Classic
I just wanna say that the Harlem shake is one of the stupidest trends ever. It was retarded back in the day, and it is retarded now.

Soft Plastic Ban In Maine.
I also signed it from Missouri. I think this is absolutely asinine, thought I believe that soft plastics thrown over the side of the boat as trash do harm the fish. This petition states that the fish pass the soft plastics if they ingest them, but from a link to an article I read out of this forum, that would appear to be untrue: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/79567-will-fish-die-if-they-swallow-plastic-worms/ I've always kept my torn plastics until we return to the ramp to dispose of them, but I am now ever vigilant in making sure my partner, daughter or friend, doesn't throw em overboard.

Skipping Tubes
I've been using some BPS tube weights that you push into the tube and then route the hook through. I absolutely love these things.

What Type Of Anchor For A 14/36 Jon Boat?
I use 2 anchors that I made from 2' sections of pvc pipe with rebar through the end. Filled em with concrete and they hold great! I cat fish from a 16 1/2 tracker and wouldn't think of using one anchor. In swift current, one anchor will have you swaying like crazy.

Gas Gauge/gas Tank
I run my boat on E for quite a long time. I'm not convinced that gas gauges on boats are accurate. I can look at my tank and see that it's 1/4 of the way full when the gauge is riding past E. . .

Need A New Throttle Cable
I noticed last year that my throttle cable was slipping and seemed really loose. I have decided to change it, and was wondering how exactly I would go about measuring it to ensure I purchase the right length.

The Bps Spring Classic Flyer Has Arrived!
I got mine yesterday, and as I expected, the PQ baitcaster is on sale! Gonna pick up my first baitcaster when this thing starts! I have a few old reels laying around, anyone care to tell me how this reel trade in thing works?

Keeping Bass
It all depends on where I'm fishing. One of the lakes I fish alot is a private lake that is grossly overpopulated according to the survey done last year. Me and my fishing buddy are about the only ones who target bass, so we keep quite a few for fish fries. If I'm fishing on a well maintained lake with a healthy population, I will most likely CR, but sometimes will take some dinks home for dinner. We love us some fish in our house!

Sub $100 Rods
I'm used to using the BPS Tourney Specials (step above the IM6 graphite series) with my spinning gear so maybe I'll check out the Lightning Shock rods. It's hard to buy good gear when your in college and broke as hell. I will probably wait until the BPS spring classic to see what they offer first, since I'm waiting to see if the PQ goes on sale then too.

Sub $100 Rods
Thanks for the quick responses guys. . . I've looked at the Lightning shock rods. My question is, is it better than the BPS IM6 Graphite rod that I already have? I bought a cheap baitcaster a few years ago and paired it with a BPS graphite series rod that cost about $30. Only problem is that I'm looking for a MH rod and this one is a fairly flimsy M rod.

Sub $100 Rods
I posted about a week ago about my quest to find my first GOOD baitcaster reel, and I decided on the BPS PQ as my first. I mentioned that I was looking at the veritas rod in mh 7' as the rod. Now it is looking like my funds may be cut short on the rod, so I am looking for advice on what rod I should look at. I plan on throwing spinnerbaits, some square bills, and jigs on this rod. I thought about the vendetta, but I cannot find one for the life of me locally. I may just wait until the BPS Spring Classic to see what they have to offer, but am interested in what yall have to say.

Recommendations On First Baitcaster
While I like the idea of ordering now, they always seem to drop the price during the Spring Fishing Classic, so that is probably when I will pick one up. Thanks for the coupon code though, have some other gear I want to get.

Recommendations On First Baitcaster
I should add, I am mostly looking to throw cranks, spinners, and jigs with this to start off with. And I reel with my left hand, so it must come in a left handed model.
