  1. Wow Trout ....... Your camera can see into the future. Too bad for you too. Looks like you won't be fishing for a while!!!!!!!!!! ;D
  2. You got that right ......
  3. Just the voice of an angel .... I've been known to throw it down pretty good on the karaoke stage every now and then.
  4. I agree .... That really makes a statement. ;D
  5. ...... and what exactly does that mean???? :-?
  6. It was too good to be true :
  7. No they are not made from Loomis blanks. The name comes from the maker .... George Blankas (or something like that). Good rods for the money. FBL and I have a few for sell in the Flea Market section.
  8. Nice!! Very sharp looking!!!!
  9. No Long_Mike won't let me go. He has figured out all the percentages and if I went it throw them all off and he would have to re-do them. ;D ;D Actually haven't given up hope yet, but I still don't see it happening :'( :'(
  10. If he is the best of the best, he should have nothing to worry about. It's the other guys that should be concerned. I suspect also that a lot of those other 9 tailbacks on their roster are first and foremost ATHLETES. They will find a place for them.
  11. <--------------- That's one of them
  12. jetsprint2, I am trying 6 lbs line this year as well on a Scorpion 1000 Mg/St. Croix Legend Tourney combo.
  13. Congrats!!! Very nice lookn' boat.

If he is gonna pull this stuff, he needs to cover up his tracks a little better. He told me in a PM the other day he was going to his girlfriend's place this weekend ... which I assume means out of town???? ....... Centerville, MD

That sucks big time .... Good luck on the rescue search tomorrow. OK, you asked for it........ I was either 16 or 17 and it was my very first night fishing trip with a boat. I had night fished before, but always from the bank. So my buddy and I get to the lake around midnight, load the gear, and launch the boat. I get in the boat and troll it over to the dock and wait for my buddy while he parked the truck. He gets to the dock and steps in the boat, but just as he does the boat starts to slip away .... so he is doing the ever so common splits with one foot in the boat and one on the dock. He lunges falls into the boat very aggressively and rocked the boat ... BIG TIME!!! Keep in mind we are in my little two man boat. So anyways we kind of laugh it off and head to our spot. A good 10-15 minutes away by trolling motor. We get there and get situated and reach down for our rods ........ GONE!!!! All 4 of them. We guess amongst incident at the ramp they must of went over. This was when I just started to accumulate some nicer equipment too. No where near what you lost, but pretty substantial to 16 or 17 year kid and those were the only two rigs you had. Then to make things worse, on the way back to the ramp it started POURING down rain. I am still amazed till this day that neither of us realized the rods went over or at least recognized we didn't have them on the way out.
  18. I would think there would me a more effective way to catch 5 with those water conditions. Could you catch one???? ......Sure. But I don't see you loading the boat with that method. I personally rarely get a topwater bite until the water warms up to the low 70's.
  19. Worth it for sure!!!!!! They have influeced the way I fish ....... BIG TIME!!!
  20. Lure: Generalist Water: Generalist Angler: Although is not on your list ... Generalist as well. I am probably 70% finesse/30% Power I consider myself a "junk" fisherman. Not really GREAT at anything, but at the same time I feel pretty comfortable with all presentations, techniques, depths, etc. Although I still do have a comfort zone ....... Fishing relatively deep structure in the 10-18 ft range, with a jig and pig, with a fairly light bait casting set up.
  21. No problems for me in the 3 or so years I have had it. Just DO NOT RESPOND to emails you get from "PayPal" asking for your info. They may look official, but they are not!!!!
  22. No kidding. I don't know how they think the guy they have now is doing a good job. He is soooooooo annoying and also seems very fake.
  23. Interesting way of looking at it. I would have never thought to look at it that way. I agree with it all pretty much. IMO I would switch 3 and 4, but the values have you assigned are almost equal. I guess I kind of think as speed and sound/action as one. I also wholeheartedly agree with your color value. IMO people but waayyyyy to much emphasis on color. Over the past two years I have basically only carried two soft plastic colors .... green and black. I have seen no decrease in size or numbers.
  24. Last summer my buddy bought some furniture for his new house at a garage sale. I went back later that night with my utility trailer to help him move it. Over in the corner of the garage they had some dtuff that didn't sell. I noticed some rods and reels (one of them being a Curado 200) so I asked how much they wanted for them. All I was really interested in was the Curado .......... $40 ........ SOLD!!!!! I got a Curado 200, some old Daiwa reel I had never seen before, and two BPS Extremes that I sold on Ebay for $80 For you guys that golf ..... Back around 2001 or 2002 when Taylor Made just came out with their 300 series Drivers. They were HOT!!!!! The country club I worked at could hardly keep them on the shelves. One day I found a head in a trash can at the course. Just the head. Took it to the Pro Shop and put about $60 into it, and sold it for almost $300.
