I was in the same boat. I had the guy at Cabelas sway me to Lowrance which was how I was leaning. There is no doubt when you see the units side by side that the Lowrances have a crisper display. Second reason was cost once you added an additional unit. That being said I would not kick a HB off my boat.

Let's see ... This morning I made biscuits and gravy. Substituted the sausage with ham. Not sure if I invented that, but I am claiming it. It's the bomb. For lunch some gourmet sandwich my sister made. Not sure exactly what is was, but it had fondue cheese on/in it. Delicious. For dinner ... Ham and cheese soup.

I'll put it this way ... you now have a weakness at SS.

I think there might have been some character issues before coming to the Royals. I am just going off memory here. I am not sure about that. Offensively his knock is plate discipline, which got better over the course of last season. He absolutely refused to take a walk. Defensively ... far too many times routine plays became not so routine. Still though, I don't think he is the "worst player in baseball". It will be interesting to see what you guys think of Grienke. If you are looking for him to become a leader of the team, a face of the franchise, etc. .... that's not him. He is out "there". Marches to the beat of his own drum. Weird.

He was dubbed by someone as the "worst player in the majors" or something like that by someone before he came to the Royals. That stuck with people I think. I honestly thought he was a pleasant surprise last year. He was our homerun king for Gods sake :

A little off topic but has anybody played Rapala's new Pro Bass Fishing? It looked a little more promising and looked like there might be more than just Rapala lures. Also get to fish real lakes. Don't know how accurate it is, but "real lakes".

HDS 5 and then you have the option to add side scan in the future. Also Lowrance is coming out with a new unit in the next couple months that has down scan only that looks pretty sweet. I believe that will be in your price range.

I get to relax all weekend and come home from work everyday next week and do whatever I want. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! It's nice. SO glad I am done with that. Been out 3 years and seriously get a sense of relief knowing I am not going through that.

YES. Almost exactly the same as you. Went to college not knowing what I wanted to do thinking I would "figure it out". Never really happened so the time came when I had to pick. Like you I chose to enter the business school and from there chose accounting never really liking it, but it came fairly easy to me until the last year when I absolutely started to dread it. During my last 2 years there were some times when classes I needed to take to graduate were not offered so I had to take some "fill classes". I always kind of had an interest in graphic design stuff so I took a few classes. Loved it and put in the kind of effort I should have been putting into my accounting classes. Like going above and beyond and always wanting to learn more. If I had to go back in time I still would have probably finished up my Accounting degree (solely because I was so close), but also stayed in school and pursued something in graphic design. Probably would have taken another 2 years minimum, but worth it to be doing something I enjoyed. Fast forward 3 years and working in the "accounting/finance" field and I am looking for something else. :-/ My suggestion is if you have that itch for something else .... scratch it!!!

I can honestly say my favorite drink is water. Best water I have had is from a faucet that runs straight from a stream in Allens Park, CO.

If it were me and it was exchangeable (?) , I would definitely put down another $100 or so and get the HDS 5 and have the option to add the side and down scan later on if you wanted.

Co-worker a couple cubes down from me has been playing it non-stop since Nov 1. It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Call me crazy, but I love the winter. I would absolutely hate to live at place that has no season change or little at all.

My dad and I are joint owners in our boat. We are upgrading all our electronics and will be getting a side imaging unit. We are on opposite sides on where to put it and why. So what's your guys' opinions?

Don't know if your serious or not, but I think you have to let the dog pick you. My current dog .... went to get a small female chocolate lab. Ended up getting the biggest (now 110 lbs) male yellow. He picked me and I couldn't say no. He came and plopped right down on my feet. Buddies ever since. Great choice!!! Hopefully its not the meth one that picks you, ;D ;D

Is it a sin if I like both old and new? And yes even the poppy stuff. To me, music (mostly country music) is kind of like politics. People choose their views based on their party affiliation and struggle to think for themselves. Kind of like music ... if it's new it sucks.

Me too about the choppiness. Cant decide if its the game or my connection. Other than that I think I like it better than MW2. I never was a fan of the maps. I havent found one of these that I really dislike yet. Thumbs up from me

Isn't it kind of sad when things actually go like they should and we are now surprised by that.

My first vehicle was a 91 Ranger. Can't say that I was overly impressed with it, but never had any mechanical problems. Sold it to a friend to use as a paint truck and it's still going with 200k+ mile on it last time I checked.

Get used the the Wizard of Oz references. NEVER hear those when I go out of town. :
