  1. Have not had a problem
  2. Senile I have to ask .... Are you originally from StL? Have you been in KC your whole life? I just don't see how a KC person can be a Cardinals fan.
  3. How was Melvern? Got my butt kicked at Lone Star today. Place just seemed dead and the two fish I did catch in 4 hours I was out there were very lethargic.

  5. Her HBO special is actually pretty good. I can see why people really like her. She is an entertainer.
  6. Spring chicken or not, in my opinion a boarding ladder is almost a must. I had a very similar experience to skunked. I went overboard at a ramp a few years ago. Water was mid 50's. Air, strength, and coordination sucked right out of me. I struggled to get to me feet in water that was a little over waist deep. I am almost thankful that it happened. Couldn't have happened in a better spot. I learned a lot from that. My boat now and any future boat will have boarding ladders.
  7. I've had a set of Maxxis for two seasons now. Seem to be holding up well and are holding air really well.
  8. Probably just under boiling? I never have much luck there after May or so and then again when we start getting some overnight lows in the low 50's high 40's. I have a love/hate relationship with that lake. Sorry I am no help.
  9. Colt Cobra .38 Special (my Grandfather's gun)
  10. Worst thing you can do in buying a used car is be in a rush. I say wait.
  11. For what its worth I have a 4Runner and tow a 18.5 ft fiberglass boat. I get about 13 while towing highway. When purchasing this vehicle I really wanted a Tundra, but would "settle" for a 4Runner. Just depended on what deal came along first. 4Runner deal popped up first of course .
  12. It worked. Thanks. That was getting frustrating.
  13. Me too. While I went fishing with my dad a lot as a young kid, he was just more of a fish for whatever bites type person. He also is very thick headed and uses pretty much the same baits in the same places every time out. I have always been more experimental. What caught me on bass fishing was my first topwater strike. I was hooked on bass and pretty much bass only and its pretty much been on my own.
  14. Can't believe you were out in that!?!?! I was packed in like a can of worms in a stairwell at work for about 35 minutes. Only the second time in my life I have ever taken cover. I didn't get to see any of it!!!
  15. I don't miss that one bit.
  16. Well it was an expensive last week. I was in "need" of a more powerful PC. I have had my eye on iMac since the first of the year. There were tons of rumors all over the internet of an iMac update being released in April/May 2011 so I waited around for that. The update was released last Wednesday. I just received it yesterday, and so far I REALLY like it. The screen on this thing is amazing. I can see me owning Mac computers from here on. That's the good. The bad ... the iPhone. Last Thursday I had to go in after my boat. A cleat my boat was tied to broke from the dock while I was parking. Soon as I saw my boat floating out into the abyss I panicked and went in after it full out Baywatch style. After a cold swim I get on board and realized my Droid was in my pocket. Crap!!!!! Went to Verizon and the "cheapest" "good" phone I could get was the iPhone because they waived some sort of reactivation charge since my contract was not up. They only waived that on iPhones. There is no doubt the thing looks and feels good but .... I hate the thing. Its a multitude of little things. The biggest one being an indicator light. I mean come on!!! How can they not put some sort of indicator light on the outside to let you know you have a missed text, call, voicemail, etc. Can't wait to get another Droid when I am up for an upgrade. Counting down the days. The bad.
  17. Just watched my first episodes tonight .... interesting.
  18. I don't think that is something Average Joe can do on his own. I think that is actually poured concrete made to look like rock .... I think. I know my neighbor does edging just like that for a living and he has some huge specialty trailer with some sort of machinery on it.
  19. "The Jerk" I have still yet til this day caught a black bass on a hard jerkbait. Not for a lack of trying either. I throw them every spring and catch everything, but black bass .... white bass, wipers, walleye, snag shad, and even a catfish. Drives me nuts!!!! And you are not helping with these pics!!!! Beauties!!!!!
  20. That's good to hear. Just in time for my week off. I try to plan it that way, but thought I might be a little early this year with all this cold weather. I did see one on Saturday at Lone Star, but he was not very locked on. Usually by this time of year they are everywhere.
  21. Mine worked like a charm. LOVE the new 3 window display
  22. CRAP!!!! Hope I don't have the same problem. I just got done updating my two. I am too tired to go out there and check it out. Guess I will find out tomorrow on the water.
  23. Nice!!! They are just making you work for it . Mozingo? I have been up there 4 times. First time was great with many quality fat fish. Not as big as the one you caught, but same shape. The other 3 times the wind BLEW all day long. I am convinced I am cursed to go up there, but its very tempting.
  24. Ouch!!!! Truly feel for you. On a side note it it kind of cool now that you can take a bunch of pics of what it looks like under water.
  25. Easter 2006 I am cruising down I-35 ( a pretty busy highway in a populated area) at 70 mph in the far left lane. All of a sudden the truck starts jumping. Kind of feels like a spark plug wire came undone or something. It definitely feels like something is mechanically wrong with the truck. So I start to make my way over to the right shoulder (3 lanes over) and just as I start to switch lanes I see the trailer starting to swerve severely. Then SHE BREAKS loose and the sparks are FLYING!!!!!!!!!!! After what felt like an eternity I somehow manage to get to the shoulder with the trailer still in tow. Had to slow down very very very slowly so the trailer didn't ram the back of my dad's truck. Some how I got that accomplished with no damage. Just some very scary moments!!!! Something very bad could have happened. In the end I am not sure what happened. I am not sure if the hitch lock broke, or I forgot to lock it........ I don't know. Thank God for safety chains. USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
