Best rod for finesse jigs - around 200
I use a St. Croix Premier mh/f for all sizes of jigs. I don't like a medium because even though a jig might weighs less, I'm still going to pitch it into the same type of cover, and brush.

What line are you using?
Berkley Big Game on everything except the punch rig, and the ultra light. Punch rig has braid and the ultra light has BPS mono on it.

Scent
I used scent many years ago. I never noticed any difference so I stopped using it.

What are your 3-5 go to lures for water temps under 50*
Jerkbait. Swim Jig. Spinnerbait. Crankbait. Lipless Crankbait. I might fish with a Texas rig if there is a lot of brush, but most of the time it will stay in the car.

Watching electronics vs. fishing
Maybe around 1%. Most of the time I leave the electronics at home unless something has happened to really move things around on the bottom.

What's your most memorable bass?
Mine would be my first jig bass. I had been learning to fish with a jig all season. I had gotten some bites, but was unable to get any hook ups. I cast over near some water willows and felt a solid thud. The bass wasn't very large, but it was an accomplishment.

What are your favorite Bladed Jig trailers and what conditions do you fish them?
I use either a Zoom Super Chunk or a Fat Albert. I've never tried a fluke as a trailer, but that sounds interesting.

Work stress....
The company where I work is very cliquey and cronyism runs rampant. My current first and second line managers were promoted into their job based on who they knew. They can quote procedures and rules, but usually don't have the experience to take care of issues when they arise. We are constantly told to keep a work / life balance, but at the same time we are told to keep cell phones on, and we need to be on call 24/7. There has been new executive leadership for about a year now, and it really seems like this guy is trying to end all of the favoritism. I check the phone a few time during the evening but have the ringer turned off, also leave the laptop at work. The only time I bring it home is when there is going be bad weather and the roads will be bad. Other than that I just try to zone out when I get home, or focus on something that gets my mind off of work.

Finally found the Unicorn!
@CaughtMeABiggun, I can only remember it was in the early 2000s. I think around 2002 or 2003. Both were brand new reels, The reels would seize up after being used for an hour or so.. The first extreme lasted maybe a month, and the second one didn't make it through the first outing.

Finally found the Unicorn!
Yeah, I had two of the green ones. They were both returned to BPS.

What's your bass fishing superpower?
I love when a game warden comes by. Chances are they have been to a few spots around the lake talking to other anglers. They can be a wealth of information.

Crankbaits
I've noticed that those baits start working again when the lure manufacturer stops making them.

I’m Trapped
I'm glad you got the electric back on. Around here winter and summer are no time for an outage.

Crankbaits
Once you buy a couple hundred new crankbaits, you'll start cruising garage sales and auctions looking for vintage baits.
-
must have lure colors
Spinnerbaits / Vibrating Jigs: Shad color, Chartreuse, White / Chartreuse. Swim Jigs: Shad color, Green Pumpkin, Black / Blue.

Most expensive spinnerbait I have ever seen
I would hope the price is a mistake. Ain't no way I'm making payments on a spinnerbait.

Northern first bass guess
I'm going to say March 22. The temps will be warm enough to get out on the water probably by March 15, so the water is going to see a lot of fishing pressured. After the surge in anglers, things may calm down enough by March 22 for the fish to bite.
