Work will be there when you get back. That nice bass, maybe not.

The last one happened about 3 years ago. Had a nice one hit a spinnerbait and take off into the deep water. Fought it for about 10 seconds and my line went limp. I reeled in the line and all I had tied on was the arm of the spinnerbait.

I usually bring a bc for jigs, a spinning reel for weightless plastics, and a bc for spinnerbaits. I tried carrying a backpack but it can get banged around, and sometimes it got wet. Now I carry a two shelf box.

Black jitterbug 5/8 size, chrome and black back pop-r, white buzzbait, and hollow body frogs are about all I ever use anymore.

Try holding your rod tip up high over your head, maybe try a longer rod.

Good job. I got in the habit of leaving the house through the garage, so I quit bringing the house key with me when I went somewhere. I got home from fishing and the opener wouldn't work. I had to wait about an hour for my wife to come home so she could let me in.

Yep. I've reeled in a 6" senko with a 4" bass hanging onto the tail of it.

Lately, I have been using a Zoom fat albert.

You're going to have to add weight. I like to fish inlines like a jerkbait. I take up some of the slack and give the rod a quick snap to move the bait.

If I took a pic every time I caught a dink I wouldn't have any room left on my hard drive.

Those are some good size bluegills!

When my soft plastics get too beat up for t-rigs I use them for trailers. Super hog, speed craw, and super chunks are my favorite, but I like to put on a senko, or a plastic worm too.

Had that happen a few years back while fishing a small jig. The only thing keeping the hook in the fish's mouth was the pressure from reeling it in. The bass just swam away when I stopped reeling and went to pick it up by the lip. It's a bummer, but at least you know where it lives now.
