  1. Winter will be here soon. That is a lot of time to practice in the back yard.
  2. Just to make sure I get out and fish.
  3. A t-rigged 6" plastic worm.
  4. I don't like punching through pads either. I always seem to get hung up on whatever is under the pads. I would much rather just flip the bait in the gaps between the pads.
  5. I have had this happen too, but with my Abu round reels. When I put the reel back together, the button that releases the spool was in the down position. Like I was getting ready to cast. I had to take the side back off and make sure the button was in the up position when I put the side back on.
  6. Good going! A bass every 4 minutes makes for a busy trip.
  7. Watermelon seed, white pearl, baby bass, and houdini are the colors I use most often. I use a 3/0 hook, and most of the time weightless.
  8. Congrats, and well done!
  9. That sounds like you had one of my days. Nice bass anyway.
  10. I only give out that kind of information to people that I know will not trash up the area.
  11. I guess I can't count this one.
  12. I would drop a jig in between the weed beds, and drag a weedless plastic right through the middle of the weeds.
  13. That is one nice fish!
  14. No trailer hook, and I use a Zoom super chunk or a big curly tail grub for a trailer.
  15. Jig and pig, creatures, and plastic worms all year. Lipless crankbaits in the spring and fall. Topwaters in the spring and summer. Crankbaits in the spring, summer, and fall.
  16. I use the jigs quite a bit. Never had any issue with them. I've never used the spinnerbaits though.
  17. Nice one! There's nothing like a topwater strike to get your blood pumping.
  18. When the temps cool down just a tad more I will be throwing Rat-L-Traps. I like fall more than spring around here. The weather is a bit more stable.
  19. Fall hayfever begins.
  20. Good catching! That is some really muddy water!
  21. Check your line and drag. Make sure all is in good condition and keep fishing. Nothing you can do about a lost fish after it happens.
  22. With work and family, I can't get out during the week. I usually that time to plan my weekend trip.
