  1. All I can say is WOW, you are in shape.
  2. I just t-rig them and keep the point of the hook inside the tube.
  3. Around here, the little ones will hit anything. I don't need a specific bait.
  4. That's a great way to start your day!
  5. Dang, you did some good fishing this weekend.
  6. Went out on a small lake this past weekend. Bite was slow. After 12 hours of fishing I only boated 7 bass. I caught them all on a jig and craw. The bass seemed to be in shallow areas that had easy access to deep water. This little guy followed me around for a few hours. Every time I moved to a new spot, it followed me. When it figured out I didn't have anything to feed it, it climbed out on a point and forgot about me.
  7. I have a BPS maybe 10 min away from my house. Cabelas and Dick's are both about 15 min away by the highway. Gander Mountain is about 45 min away. I prefer BPS for fishing supplies.
  8. You guys did good.
  9. Be glad it wasn't a squirrel.
  10. iheartradio, or Pandora. I hardly ever have the radio on in the car anymore.
  11. This year I have been using black, watermelon, and black/blue. Matching the trailers to the jig.
  12. Nothing brightens up the fishing trip like catching a 2 or 3 pound bass while fishing for panfish with the UL rig.
  13. I like the pop-r. It has been my top producing hard bait this year. I also like running a 6" straight worm, or a 6" senko type bait across the top of the water. It doesn't create a lot of action, but it gives off a good wake behind it.
  14. A 1/8 ounce finesse jigs pull through the hydrilla and milfoil much easier than a 1/2, or even a 3/8 jig. It also has a slower drop when you pull it across a hole in the weeds.
  15. Good going! Cool vid!
  16. Wow that's good news! I am going to miss your posts.

    That's funny right there! Lol!
  18. Are the hooks sharp? If fish start getting off of my crankbaits I hit the hooks with a file. 90% of the time that corrects the problem.
  19. That's great news, congrats!
  20. If pike are anything like muskie, they will hit any bait a bass will that is 1/2 ounce or larger.
  21. Find the leaf rake, trim the bushes one more time, and sharpen the hooks on my rat-l-traps.
  22. Gar got into one of the city lakes when the river flooded a few years back. DNR got them out by shocking the water. Made a bunch of fisherman very happy.
  23. For crankbaits I like Mann's 1 minus in gray ghost, and fire shad. I usually throw SK spinnerbaits, or BPS lazereye spinnerbaits.
  24. Every once in a while I end up on a body of water that will just shut down. Not even the bluegill and sunfish bite. If I'm pondhopping I will go to a new pond. If I am in a boat I will look for the deepest part of the lake, and hope my luck changes.
