  1. I didn't see it in your post, but around here if a pond has a lot of grass in it, then the water is fairly clear. Try a smaller size jig and pop it across the top of the grass.
  2. Fishing noises don't bother me. People noises irritate me a lot more.
  3. The problem for me is not finding open water, but time to go fishing.
  4. Remember to take into account the cost of insurance. You don't want the rates to be so high that you can't afford to drive the car.
  5. Growing up my family alway had Chevy's. The last GM product I had was an 88 Pontiac. The mechanical problems and the attitude of the dealerships turned me off. If I ever get another truck it will be a Ford or Toyota.
  6. I like 15 mono. Usually Big Game.
  7. I would use the mh for 0-20 feet, and the h for 20-40 feet. I like the extra backbone. You may not need it, but its there if you do.
  8. I have two BPS 370 boxes dedicated to jigs. 1/2 and 3/8 in one box. 1/4 and 1/8 in the second box. I sort them by weight, and color, keeping the same brands together. Same weights go in columns across, and the same colors go in rows up and down. When I lose one I know its weight, color, and who made it by the empty spot in the box.
  9. I don't know enough about Photoshop to do anything but crop. I am always afraid that I will ruin the pic.
  10. For me, this past year was a terrible spinnerbait year.
  11. It's not hoarding, it's collecting. Like stamps or coins, but you can use them.
  12. Sometimes I use surgical tubing, but if I can't find a bite and I'm switching trailers around I don't use anything.
  13. These are not in any order. 1. jig n craw 2. Zoom super fluke 3. 5/8 jitterbug in black 4. 3/8 white spinnerbait 5. 6" BPS stik-o 6. 1/2 Rat-L-Trap in natural craw. 7. 1/2 Cordell super spot in chrome/blue 8. Zoom finesse worm 9. Mann's jelly worm 10. Spro Bronzeye frog.
  14. That's a neat video. The slo mo is cool.
  15. My rod is 6'-6". I do a lot of fishing from the bank. Good length for moving through the under brush. It's also easier to get in and out of the car.
  16. None of it will go for fishing. Going to use it for the yearly family vacation.
  17. Never been asked to leave, but there have been a few times when I was asked not to attend.
  18. Alrighty then....
  19. Great looking bass!
  20. Either Uncle Josh pork chunk, or a Zoom big salty chunk.
  21. It depends on the time of year and where I am fishing. In the summer I tend to do better on chrome w/ blue back. In the spring natural craw colors seem to work best. In the fall it is the big 3/4 ounce rat-l-trap in shiner color that I use the most. I like the Cordell Super spots for the chrome, and rat-l-traps for the craw and shiner colors.
  22. I have always had luck with Bandits.
