  1. Sounds like you had a real good time!
  2. I will be another one to chime in and say its the rod. 30' is 30' whether you are fishing vert. or horizontal. I would upgrade to a MH rod.
  3. This is why there are waypoints.
  4. Get it looked at by a doctor. There are a lot of things on the right side that you don't want to mess with.
  5. I like the paca chunks, and the speed craws.
  6. Never use trailers except on jigs. I will add a trailer hook if I am getting hits, but no hookups.
  7. I label the boxes, but I don't label the individual compartments. If I did that I would be relabeling 4 or 5 times a year.
  8. The Rapala ones are pretty good, but its been a while since I have seen any of them.
  9. I put backing on about 1/3 of the spool and then fill up the rest to about 1/8 in. from being full. If I have to start cutting and retying I don't want to run out of line.
  10. I set the tension knob and then use my thumb.
  11. I just put on a bigger trailer to slow the fall. If that doesn't work I will switch to a lighter jig.
  12. Baby Brush hogs, and Super Hogs. Usually in greens and browns.
  13. Never use it myself unless the bait comes already scented.
  14. 20 years, Congrats!
  15. Nice bass! Way to start off the new year.
  16. I don't go out on ice. Around here the temp can be 5 one day and 50 the next. The ice won't get thick enough in those conditions.
  17. A few years back the quality of the Levi's just went downhill. I switched over to Lee's.
  18. Did you keep a log or just count numbers?
  19. I'm afraid if that were available I wouldn't get off of the computer!
  20. I have an old spinnerbait with white blades. This bait works very well in muddy water, while fishing for LM, when chrome blades will not produce anything.
  21. I just use a box with the dividers removed. I roll up the factory bag and put it right in the box.
  22. I just usually give a finesse worm a little sidearm toss. Normally I will have a 1/16, or 1/8 ounce weight on a finesse worm.
  23. I like a heavy action rod with a fast tip. You can't have too much muscle pulling them out of the weeds.
