Earlier this year it was they were tearing up brush hogs. Lately its been jigs, tubes, and plastic worms.

I like an overcast sky with the barometer at 30 or below. A steady breeze just strong enough to put a ripple on the water with the water slightly stained. Water temps in the low 70's and air temp in the 80's. Even better when it has been this way for two or three days.

I use them on hard crankbaits, but not on jigs, spinnerbaits, or plastics.

I fish from the bank about 1/2 the time. Wind is more of a concern to me than water depth. I will throw as light as the wind will let me.

Rat-L-Trap or 1- minus depending on how deep and if I am in a boat or not.

Mine's 4-7. I got it a couple of weeks ago.

Trim off the front arms and cut off about 3/4" from the front and use them as jig trailers.

Its always nice to have someone along to take a picture of you and the lunker you just caught.

You might try swimming a 1/4 or 1/8 oz. jig.

Thanks for the info. Yesterday I picked up a Revo-S for 50% off .

I use old prescription pill bottles. The ones with the twist cap child proof tops. You rinse them out first and then your good to go.

I use a file to sharpen jigs, lures, spinners, and crankbaits. On worm hooks I will replace them. I usually bend them or loose them before they go dull.

x2 X3 I was fishing them like a worm and I kept missing. I started letting them go for a couple of seconds and my hook ups really improved.

Probably two or three a year.

My work schedule doesn't always jive with the tables, so I don't pay too much attention to them.

We were down there last year in June. Looks a whole lot different than it did then.

When I'm fishing from shore the hardbaits I use are topwaters, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and shallow runners. I hate getting them hung up and loosing them.

I've been using them for about three years now. You can't beat them in the spring.
