  1. I keep cat and crappie only. I can't stand the taste of bass.
  2. The next trolling motor I get will be a Minn Kota. I currently have a Motor Guide now. Without running into something under the water, I have had problems with the prop falling off. I have also had to have the switch replaced several times.
  3. I have had good luck fishing weightless flukes in moss and weeds. I just bring them across the tops of the moss in little short jerks, and then let them fall into holes.
  4. 6'6" heavy for jigs 6'6" medium heavy for plastics 6'6" medium for finesse plastics
  5. Right now green is working here in clear lakes. Black is working in muddy water.
  6. Welcome Aboard!!
  7. I keep them in the original bags and then put them inside ziplock bags. I can pull out one ziplock bag and have all of the same baits together.
  8. Put on the sunblock before you head out of the house. By the time you reach the lake and get the boat in the water, the sunblock has worn off your hands.
  9. I tend to use them alot for jig trailers.
  10. Around here its small lakes and ponds. The closest lakes 1000+ acres in size are about 2 hours away.
  11. That is a nice chunky bass you've caught there!!
  12. I hope nobody has plans to go up there this weekend. It is closed to all boat traffic. http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/missouristatenews/story/695F7CBAA86748B586257496000EC281?OpenDocument
  13. And at the ER they always ask you if you caught anything.
  14. WELCOME BACK!!
  15. So far three times this year. I know since I've said it I'll go and get skunked again.
  16. Welcome Back!!
  17. I picked the extreme, just because I have one.
  18. Welcome Aboard!! I usually target any visible cover that I can see and try and cast around it from as many angles as possible.
  19. I would probably make a couple of casts with the t-rig just to see if they would hit it. If not I would start throwing the crankbait again.
  20. Thanks for the feedback
  21. I'm looking for a new camera and I was wondering what everyone uses out on the water?
