First off, those offers you're getting are scams. I get them occasionally from overseas. My wife got a phone call the other day at her business from someone from Nigeria wanting to purchase 4 diamond/Gold pendants at nearly $800 apiece. The Visa card he gave didn't match up with the name. How this guy from Nigeria got my wifes business phone number is beyond me. This time of the year is ripe for the scammers. 2nd, since you advertised you item on Ebay for sale anyone that sees it did so because of Ebay. Ebay's policy is they deserve a sellers fee if you make a sale based on the items appearance on Ebay. You also lose any sellers protection in the event the sale goes bad if you sell outside the system.
  2. The roof cave in occurred at the largest of the nine buildings on the plant grounds, Rollins said. "We plan to bring all workers together and move into a plant across the street, and run three shifts so people will not be without work during the Christmas season," Rollins said. The semi-flat roof had a small pitch, Rollins said. "We took a forklift and popped open the doors so the engineers can look around," Rollins said. Structural engineers will inspect the damage today, he said. Gas lines have been turned off; plant officials are not allowing any people in, Rollins said.
  3. I've caught a bunch of fish over the years on jigs but have kind of put them aside for awhile. I'd say jigs is one. I bought some larger tubes to try pitchin and flippin with 2 years ago and have barely used them. Flippin tubes would be another. I put the spinnerbaits away this year to practice with the chatterbait. The juries still out on that lure. So put the spinnerbait back on the rod. I've dabbled with the dropshot rig. Not enough time in with it to draw a conclusion. So dropshots are something I need to learn. That's about it.
  4. I stand on my back deck which is approximately the same height above the ground as my front deck is over the water and practice hitting different targets.
  5. I always wanted to go to Morehead State. I can just imagine yelling MOREHEAD! MOREHEAD! at the football games. ;D Good luck.
  6. That's a trim tab. It's used to offset prop torque. Taking it off can cause your boat to pull to one side. I'm not sure how necessary they are on boats with hydraulic steering.
  7. Awesome! http://www.futurebass.com/region2/article2/coolvid.htm
  8. Really cool http://www.futurebass.com/region2/article2/coolvid.htm
  9. I'm willing to bet you are using the speedometer for those mph figures. Put a gps on that boat and you'll find out it's nowhere near that fast. You're right. 3 people, full tank of gas and tackle with a 40hp doing 38mph. Sorry, no way.
  10. This site usually runs pretty slowly for me whether I access at home or at work. I can't even imagine attempting to come here with a dial up connection.
  11. I'm not speaking of the integrity of players here nor vices off the field. I'm talking about the taking of performance enhancement drugs which had a direct effect of their on the field performance and statistics. If you allow McGuire and other user players into the Hall on these numbers doesn't that merely raise the bar that the next generation of non-using players has to reach? Do we have a seperate area of the hall with an asterik over the doorway when you walk in for them? Mr. McGuire was not on trial when he went before congress, there was no legal axe hanging over his head. He could've cleared the air by telling the truth, he didn't. I'd have had a lot more respect for the guy if he'd have come clean and admitted his mistake. He sets a poor example for the youth of the nation by not doing so.
  12. I'm not that big on brands, I think it's like RW said, location and presentation. I primarily use Rogues in the 4 1/2 and 5 1/4" sizes Husky Jerks and a Berkely bait I thinks it's called the finesse minnow. It's a smaller, more compact bait. I really like the action on it. I decided to buy a few after getting one with my bass renewal and catching some fish with it.
  13. You want a reel that lasts a lifetime so buy a Van Stahl.
  14. To explain my answer further, the SX180 series is rated for 130 hp so you're underpowering by 10%. The 4 stroke is a heavier motor and less torquey so you're asking this 4 stroker to lift it's additional weight + the boat out of the water, you're going to have a slower hole shot with the 4 than with the 2 not to mention a little less top end speed. The 2 stroke would be the better bet if you're going to underpower.
  15. If I have limited time and I'm on a familiar lake I'll concentrate on my high percentage areas but fish them slowly. I'm not a real run n gun type person because I prefer to fish slow presentation lures in high percentage areas.
  16. I used to think I had to wear a red hat to do any good fishing. I broke myself of that superstition.
  17. Rods and reels inside. Rest of the tackle is in a garage which is heated and stays cool in the summer.
  18. I'm a Ford guy through and through and here's my list. A new Ford GT. New Shelby Mustang '67 GT350 BMW M4 E type Jag and finally, I like to find one of these that I used to own in my youth. 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. Mine looked identical to this one.
  19. Both Hummingbird and Lowrance make good depthfinders. Go to their websites. I believe both have virtual tours of their finders. Go to BPS or Cabela's and check them out for yourself. Just do it.
  20. Verado plusses It's quieter. ............. That's about it.
  21. No here too. I'm not sure how you can maintain the intergrity of the HOF if you allow inductees whose records have been tainted with performance enhancing drugs. If you let them in, you completely skew the level of the bar that future inductees have to reach to get there without the aid of the same drugs. McGuire had his opportunity to put that all to rest with the congressional hearings. He failed to do so, his inability to say NO is an indictment in my mind of his guilt. No to the HOF for him.
  22. There really won't be any sort of manual for the boat. Boat manuals, at least the ones that have them are basically generic deals showing you how to launch a boat, turn on the livewells, etc. no specs or anything pertinant to the boat you have would be listed. Your best bet is to wait till you hear from the manufacturer or you could take it to a local trailer builder who could build you a trailer made for you boat. A trailer setup for an aluminum boat isn't nearly as critical as one for fiberglass.
  23. Besides what Josh said, less factory trained maintenance needed for a 2 stroke. Oh, and more power.
  24. About $1000 give or take a couple hundred. The motor may be worth more parted out than it is on the back of the boat and what gives with those el-cheapo plastic seats?
