  1. Which is one more reason to support the investment group which formerly included Rush. This group was formed to keep the Rams in St. Louis. All those in St. Louis who disapproved of letting Rush be even a minority partner (with no voice in the operation of the team) might change their tune when the Rams eventually pack up and leave town. They're dedicated to keeping the team in St Louis. Dedicated = how much $$$$$?
  2. Just post a thread about how the Revo STX sucks. That should flush him out. ;D
  3. Most states have rules of the road for boaters. I'd suggest looking into your current state laws or the laws for states you'll be running your boat on to find out the rules for passing boats.
  4. What the adages mean in weather terms in the Midwest. Not applicable everywhere. "When the wind is from the North, wise fisherman to not go forth. A cold front has just passed. Barometer on the rise. Fishing will be off. When the wind is from the south, it blows the hook into the fish's mouth. A front is approaching. Barometer is probably dropping. Fishing is usually good. When the wind is from the east, good fishing is the least. A low pressure system has passed far south or we're on the southern side of a high pressure ridge. Experience has shown that fishing is much tougher. When the wind is from the west, Then the fishing is the best." Another indicator of an approaching front or low pressure system.
  5. I've long found Easterly component winds kill the fishing. It has nothing to do with the wind itself or the fact it's coming from the East but instead, the weather patterns that are causing the easterly winds that effect the fish bite.
  6. Not that it matters. There are some real questions as to whether the Rams will be in St Louis beyond the year 2015 anyway. Seems there's a tidy little clause in the stadium lease contract with the city about how the current dome stadium must be in the top 25% of all stadiums in the country or else.... :
  7. So sayeth he who wants to drown all the non-boaters.
  8. What would be awesome would be MK to refine the Power drive technology beyond what they've done over the past nearly 20 years. Given the technological advancements in motors, I still can't believe they haven't been able to increase the head turning speeds of their motors to a level that at least comes close to approaching cable drives and that's the biggest thing keeping most bass fishermen from making the change to those type of motors. They developed the Genesis motor a number of years ago. It flopped but the concepts were revolutionary and needed refinement. Had they worked harder on that motor it would be a standard on most bass boats today. They seemed locked into selling to Walleye fishermen and the bass fishing market plays second fiddle.
