River Rock Custom Baits. 1/8-1/4oz weedless tube jigs (oldham style) depending upon current. Generally speaking, I'll start early Spring with 2.5 - 2.75" and work up to 4" by late Summer. But there have been days when I'm throwing a smaller tube and won't get a sniff, change to a 3.5 - 4" and they start crushing it; and vice versa. I throw tubes on spinning gear with mono. If I had mono on my baitcaster, I'd throw them on that also. I like mono to "snap" the tubes free if they get hung in rock.
  8. Checking Harbor Freight online all I see is white and black. Do they carry other colors?
  9. Check out Oldham's weedless tube jigs. I use this style 99% of the time.
  10. Over the past couple years, many forum discussions about the ned worm have stated the success could be attributed to resembling a craw that's lost its pinchers
  11. I hear you and do the same. That way if the homemade bait doesn't catch fish, my wife can wear them!
  12. Allen, you been walking around the Walmart earring hobby aisle?
  13. Zipper is still being sold by Fishing Complete Inc https://fishingcompleteinc.com/collections/zipper-worm-company
  14. A white spinnerbait with white blades; willow, colorado, or combo, has proven to be an excellent dirty water bait for me
  15. I haven't fished them yet but those new missile baits mini d chunk trailers look good
  16. ^^^^^ what Bird said
  17. Maybe..... If it was me, I'd cut the lead off, save the keepers, and pour another head. If the hook has an eye inside the lead, you have a stout worm hook. That "pretty flimsy...I can bend it with my fingers" pretty much sums it up that you're in for a big let down ahead.
  18. Had it happen on some originals I had in stock as well. I wire tied them and good to go.

Checked my Walmart today and they are still full price. I have used them in the past and been happy with them.
  20. There is a private FB group for Riversmallies. You can send Matt a PM to join the group. It was created as an interim place for the folks to share until the site comes back. Matt is upgrading the server and computer technical stuff ( over my head) to bring the site back but says it's gonna be a while.
  21. River Rock tube on a 1/4oz tube jig.
  22. Great read, thanks! You mentioned you're a big fan of the Owner Oval Split ring to the front line tie. May I ask what size and why? Thanks!
  23. Looking good, it's addictive! That's a gansta size willow leaf in the second pic, #5 or bigger?
