With the spawn coming up please try your C-rig with a 6 inch lizzard but...place the hook on the SIDE of the lizzard. It gives the bait another way to move that the fish do not see very often. 3X's are good but as said, keep them away from your other plastics. Great suggestion about the foam earplug in a tube. You may also want to try a Creature bait, too. Just experiment to see what they are interested in eating that day.

Yes, you can transfer the risk of a pure loss event to an insurance carrier. I never gave this transfer any thought but will call my carrier, USAA, and ask them if they will allow me to do so on my PAF. Thanks for the tip.

I saw a picture of the tornado on Fox this morning. Man, was that a big tornado. So glad Roadwarrior and family are OK and everyone else on this site. I tell my clients, when we discuss property insurance deductibles, that the one thing we cannot control that will totally destroy a building is a tornado. Once again, glad all are OK.

That is a great question. The Bass Times article will be of great value to you guys. Have you thought of contacting the FLW or B.A.S.S. Federations in your state and asking for assistance? Can you post flyers at the local tackle shops? I have noticed that guys join clubs where they know some of the guys so word of mouth is a very good tool. We have openings in our bass club and we are just waiting until our current members bring their friends to join. Good luck.

Hey guys, great replies. And yes, some of these guys did not do their homework in the class room and the big schools are not taking partial qualifiers. It is a shame as this is one way to get into college and play a sport where you excel. As for Bama, Nick will get the kids and Bama will be back. Not this year but in the future. Can the service guys do a compression check on the engine? Are spark plugs OK? I am sure there are other things that the guys will suggest.

No problems with either our Jeep or my Volvo sedan. Only use 4 wheel drive when pulling up a high slope ramp. You should not have any problems. However....be very careful as you will be pulling the boat and you will no longer stop on a dime. Give yourself as much room as possible from the vehicle in front of you.

If we had to come up with the money to pay our total federal and state tax bills on April 15th of each year we would have a revolution in this country. People get excited about a refund. But how much money are you having to give to the federal and state governments and Social Security? This is why taxes are taken out of our paychecks. So we will not see or miss the actual amount going to the government. Plus the fact that Americans will spend the money and not save it to pay taxes. And don't get on the IRS' back. They are a collection agency which follows the rules and regulations set by Congress. Get on your Senator and Congressman's back to change the system. And if you pay your taxes you don't have to worry about the IRS coming to your front door. Just watch your Congressman so that he does not put his hand down in your pockets any deeper.

Opps! I think it is tomorrow. Today is Mardi Gras so they moved it a day ahead so not to mess up the people who are going to Mardi Gras or have plans in their area to celebrate the beginning of Lent.
