Bass Pro Johnny Morris Carbon lite 2.0 Spinning Reel
It has a screw on handle. Not the screw that passes through and tightens from the opposite side.

Bass Pro Johnny Morris rods
I definitely prefer the signature series over the carbonlite and even the platinum. The reel seat alone is the best of the 3.

Bass Pro Johnny Morris Carbon lite 2.0 Spinning Reel
The reel is actually fantastic. It is the new version for 2020 and it's now made by Daiwa. Very big improvement over last years model. Very smooth and light.

Excalibur Square Bill
I was excited to see the smash shads as well. The colors I saw arrive were black chrome orange, blue chrome orange, chrome clown, fire perch, hot perch, metallic yellow/black back and wonder bread.

Excalibur Square Bill
Not sure why the flyer calls them "Excalibur" (the original name was XCalibur) but the packaging they come in says "Booyah XCS100". I have had them in my hands and will be comparing them side by side to the old XCalibur's in the next couple of days to see how they stack up. The Storm smash shads look very nice. They are an assorted lot so store selection may vary as there are 6-7 different colors and 3 different sizes.....3/16oz, 1/4oz and 3/8oz.

Case Plastics
I have no experience with Case Plastics but if you Google "Backwoods Angler TV" you should find a bunch of episodes on their tv show. Blaine Mengel was sponsored by Case Plastics. He uses them a lot fishing for smallmouth on the show and seems to do quite well. Might give you some decent info. Hope it helps.

Bass Pro website
Not sure if it is your computer or not. I wish I could test it out for you but I seem to have a different issue of my own with their website. Whenever I go there the main page will load but after my first click I get..... Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.basspro.com/" on this server.

Snagged some items on clearance from a local shop that is getting out of fishing. It really saddens me as this shop carried some quality tackle.

Tackle Box Tray Census : ) What do you use ?
Most of my boxes are Plano. A combination of 3700 and 3600's in waterproof, hydroflo and regular depending on what I am storing in them. For my saltwater stuff I am currently using the Flambeau Zerust boxes. The have been working out well so far.

Thanks for the heads-up but they are being sold by a 3rd party seller which I am always leery of.

Tiny torpedo vs baby torpedo vs chug bug for largemouths/peacocks/snakeheads
I've had decent sized smallmouth put a hurt on a Tiny Torpedo. I can't imagine what a peacock would do it. ?

Bait caster for bank fishing?
For my bank fishing I am pretty much baitcasting 99% of the time now. I use to carry a spinning rod with me as well but I haven't had the need for one since I bought a couple Yumeya bfs spools for my Curado 50e and Core 50Mg7. I can throw pretty much anything on them.

Top water poppers without rattles
yup. Skitter pop doesn't have rattles. X-rap pop does.

Would you rather have more rods than reels, or more reels than rods?
I am a complete sucker when I stumble across a sale. For the last year or so it's been rods. I have 7 baitcasting reels and 15 rods. It's a sickness.
