Shimano fan boy.
$400cdn is pretty much what they were full retail. The Core 50MG was $430 and the Core 100MG were $390 when they retailed here.

I vote for the core as well. I have 2 Curado 50e's, 2 Core 100mg's and a Core 50. As @Delaware Valley Tacklesaid...the Core is much more refined.

BX Brat Crankbait?
I too have been wondering about the BX Brat's. I noticed that Dick's is having a promotion where Ripstops, Shadow Raps, Shadow Rap Shads, & BX Brats are 3 for $20. Been wondering if I should try.

- Anyone know anything about scales?
For light stuff I use the AWS-100 digital scale that I bought from Amazon for $10. Weighs up to 100g (3.53oz) in 0.01 gram increments so really accurate.- Look who i met yesterday
Yeah I knew Shimano had dropped sponsorship which is why I was curious about all the Shimano and Jackall signs in the background. Must have been just a coincidence.- Look who i met yesterday
Was he working the Shimano booth? Digging his t-shirt. lol- Squarebill
The 6th Sense Crush Flat X75 is a solid choice. They are currently on sale for $4.99 as well.- Best Mono Line hands Down

Keep checking amazon.ca....they pop on there from time to time being sold by Amazon. That is where I got my last 4 and they were cheap. I am guessing that you already tried Bass City and Pro J? You mentioned checking Basspro but did you ask them to bring some in for you? I had the store down by me bring in some Pro-Tec powder paint that the store doesn't sell but the website does. It took a couple of weeks but it arrived. Sadly....no DicksSports in Canada. They won't ship here either.- 63 years ago today
- Sealing crankbait paint gone bad
The hard as nails works well. If you want to try a "rattle-can" option, I have used the Krylon clear coat in the link below with great results. http://www.krylon.com/products/colormaster-paint-primer-acrylic-crystal-clear/- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Are the soft plastics reacting at all with the boxes? It's been a long while now but I recall buying something similar and the boxes melted as they weren't "wormproof" as they used to say in the old days.- Crankbait rod and reel
What speed are your faster reels? Also what brand and model? My initial thoughts are, to have the versatility you want, a 6.1-6.3:1 would work great unless you were throwing a 10xd a lot.- The latest sale thread
Thank you. I will definitely check it out.- Your Favorite Spinnerbait
My favorite spinnerbaits have been War Eagle's screamin eagle, Terminator t1 and in some situations the Booyah pond magic and Tiny t1 have been fantastic. Also wanted to mention that this past summer I added some Eco Pro Tungsten Rapid Fire's and they worked out great. As for replacement skirts my main choices have been War Eagle and SK perfect skirts. I keep wanting to get some Lumaflex skirts to try but just haven't done so for some odd reason.- The latest sale thread
Anyone else seeing more buy 5 get 5 deals at Dick's lately?- Wood Carving Time
Figured you might be resting up from the Turkey carving over the holiday season.- Wood Carving Time
Any more recent carvings @*Hootie ?- Berkley mini line spooler
- TW order did not go through...
The last time I had tried to order the Lady to whom I spoke on the phone told me that both billing and shipping had to match, BUT....after several orders were made they would consider allowing a different shipping address. They are trying to cover their butts....can't say that I blame them but it is frustrating. - Anyone know anything about scales?
