Good bait and currently on sale during the Spring Classic in store at Bass pro. 5 for $10 Red eye's on sale for $5.19

I really thought that I would like 832 so bought 5 spools last spring. I tried it on several baitcasters and spinning reels and was disappointed with the handling and castability compared to power pro.

I think that there is something wrong with me. After browsing the entire Classic flyer the only thing that I wanted was that kid's foam bass hat on page 3. I know that I am a kid at heart but this might be stretching it a bit. 48 going on 8.

I have kodi on my pc and ipad. There are a few addons with a bit of fishing content but not a ton. I think there is more hunting content than fishing. Of course watching Jimmy Houston is always a hoot.

Nice buy but I thought the sale didn't start until tomorrow? They also claim there are limited colors. What other colors were available?

I found 2 packs of that color and 1 pack of rayburn red in an old box of lures I had stashed away. I opened a pack of the sunset (still unsure on color name) and the rayburn and tossed them in my lipless box. I also found an old Cordell Rattle Spot Minnow in smokey joe....I will try that this spring if we ever thaw out.

I know for most bfs situations people mainly use the 50 size reels which makes perfect sense but I am curious if anyone has tried the Yumeya 34mm bfs spool in their Core 100mg? If so, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I am not sure what the final cost to make them is but after watching the video on how the Rat-L-Traps get made, I can honestly say that $5.49 retail is a good price.

I might give them a try in either the 3/8oz or the 5/8. I have been really happy with other H2O baits.

We are still digging out of a Blizzard that dropped 3 feet of snow. What season is it? Still Winter here.

I had asked @Bluebasser86not long ago for his thoughts on using a craw colored crankbait for smallmouth in clear lakes that are void of crawdads. No one up here fishes craw colored baits as they don't believe they will work. It suddenly dawned on me that the smallmouth up here probably haven't seen that color before and thus I am going to try and see what happens. Should be an interesting experiment.

Shimano has always answered on the 2nd or 3rd ring when I have called them. Great service.

Sorry to hear that it didn't come with shoes. I am about to order a couple Core 50 spools to swap in and out of my Curado 50E's. I have quite a few of the red and green brakes so I think I will order the clear smoke ones for the Calais as they are the thinner ones used on the bfs spools.

I grew up trout fishing. Dad would take on 2 day fishing trips pretty much every weekend. Always loved those trips. Fishing now is one of only a few things that make me really happy. Life sucks sometimes so thinking about fishing even in the middle of winter gives me some solace from everyday life stuff.
