I'm wondering when do you think the economy will turn around. I think as long as fuel prices remain high it's not going to turn around. Some are saying in 6 months to a year for it to get better. I think not

Yep add another one to the fire. I'm currently using pepcid max strength for now had a presription for nexium that worked pretty good. I have heartburn almost daily lately. It's funny though sometimes I can go long periods with out the burn. Then it just hits and stays with me for a real long time. If I eat anything that has dough or bread I'm screwed. There have been a couple of times I didn't have any nexium or pepcid on hand and have literaly just ate tums all day long. Even with the pepcid I still get it a little but it's tolarable

Sometimes you just have to step away for a while. I know I get tired of of the forums from time to time and even agrivated at times as well. It's not that I don't like like the forums or wish it would change. It's just nice to step away and come back, kind of refreshes things a little. I have been visiting a few other forums lately mostly archery and I can tell you this board here is the most down to earth and the most helpfull board I have ever been to. In my opinion all other forums out there should be taking notes from this one. I don't know what is going on with the Avid and Cajun thing vs the mods or whatever else there up aginst but I know this and I hope they read it. You guys have alot of freinds here, and have alot that care about you and value your opinions. Freindship is a rareity these days. Who else will be there when you need them the most. Life is to short to be mad at each other. You guys and yes the mods too have helped alot out during times of need and each other. You guys come to the forums as strangers but became friends over time. It's hard to just leave a friends behind. I think both sides owe it to each other to walk away still as freinds. I don't blame either side but think that both have been through to much to end it this way.

While this is the best fishing forum and actually IMO the best forum going of anykind it does get old sometimes, Not trying to be mean by saying that but just saying I take breaks from it here and there. Sometimes it's best just to step away for a while. And honestly I know what I know about fishing and don't really care much if someone knows more than me or thinks they know more than me. I only have to prove things to myself no one else.

I don't buy my fishing equip or supplies at wal-mart anyway. So I really could care less if they did quit selling fishing stuff.

Our bill last month was $700 but I had not filled up since the first of oct. I won't have to fill up agin till next fall I have a wood pellet stove so that helps but I still have to buy pellets.

Hard to argue with this logic, but the bank fisherman has a major contigency to deal with......namely that he cannot retrieve fouled or snagged lures. It is why my bank fishing kit is stuffed with soft plastics and offset worm hooks for Texas rigging. My hard baits are limited to some spinnerbaits, and a couple topwaters. Cranking from the bank is a bait monkey wet dream x2 I do have a couple of shallow cranks in mine though.
