Camping
Started off with the back of a truck when I was a kid with my parents then moved up to a small camper then a pull behind camper. As an adult now I use a tent if I wanted all the luxurys of home then I would just stay home. When I was younger and went camping with freinds I can remember one time being close to sugar corn field and we would take ears of corn with the shuck on and lay them in the hot coals and have corn for dinner. It was really good. I would also imagine with fuel going sky high tent camping will be on the rise too.

Give Up One?
If I had to give up one or the other then I would just give up both because I like them both to much and without one the other just isn't appealing to me. When I fish all spring in summer I start to get tired of it toward the fall months and long to be out hunting and doing something different. When I'm hunting during the fall and winter toward the end of the season I start thinking about spring and the spawn and catching fish during the summer and I can't wait. For me they both give me a break from the other and I can't pick one so I would give them both up.

Was at the busch race sat night and KB was doing great and the car just got away from him. Hated to see that I was sure he was going to win. I was really disapointed. I'm glad to see Dale Jr win today it's been a long time coming and I'm happy to see it come to him.

Sprint or T- Mobile
I had nextel before sprint bought it and when they bought it they sent me a thing saying how they where going to make service better and this and that. Nextel sucked rear before sprint as far as the phone part and sometimes the direct connect sucked too. Any ways sprint hasn't really done anything that I can tell to make it better actually it's starting to get worse. My brother had nextel/sprint and he got tired of it and shipped them down the road and signed on with verizion. In our area they are worse than sprint. I use to cuss sprint alot but everytime I call my brother or he calls me verizon drops the call. My freind bought a criket phone and I thought it would be crap too but it works very well. You might check them out.

Could have been bad...
Yeah talking about weird I too a few weeks ago had to visit the oral surgeon and had to be knocked out. I was sitting in the chair and was about the change my mind and the nurse knew I was nervous and said I'm going to start a line and give you some valume<spellling. Next the only thing I remember was her putting something on my nose and then I woke up at the house. My wife told me I talked the whole way home and was able to walk to the car and into the house. I sure don't remember it. In a incoherant state of mind I was by myself the rest of the day my wife had to work. I had to take my medication. So make it to the kitchen to the medicine cabinet and took what I thought was the right amount of medicine. After I stood there a little bit I got to looking more closely and I realized that I had taken two pain pills and was only supposed to take one at a time. I have never had anything stronger than Advil in my whole life so that was an experiance I don't want to go through agin. Them things put me out in a whole different world. I stopped taking them a day later I found it easier to deal with the pain rather being doped up half the time.

Oil Prices Plunge
I'm telling you gas below two dollars a gallon is wishfull thinking I don't care how you slice it. There is two much money being made somewhere for it to just go back down. It won't happen until the economy crashes and people just can't afford to drive period. I still say gas will be $5 a gal by nov if not sooner.

Loggers make a mess
I went to my inlaws today which is about two miles up the road from me. My father in law says we have alot of wood to cut up this summer and fall and winter. I ask why's that. Well the neighboring property owner had some loggers come in and log some trees on there place but the logger decided to come over and help themselves to about 12 of my father in laws trees as well. Just to cover his rear he had a police report made and the logger contacted him and said it all was a mistake that he didn't know he had crossed the property line and would he would give 100% of the money made off the logs to him. My father laws propery has fence on both sides on the property line both end at a creek. The property being logged is adjacent to one side and to the back of my father in law's where the creek seperates the back side of his property from the property being logged. It's a good sized creek as well. The logger basically went around the fence through the creek and started cutting trees. All mostly walnut and oak trees. One had to be atleast 200 plus years old. They where all large trees. He actually dropped one of the trees on the property line fence. Anyways he kept all the trees seperated that he cut from my father in laws place from the ones he got from the other property why we don't really know. The other property owner said he had given him a very good map of the property and all the boundries where clearly marked. It ticks me off for one its a great place for fall turkeys they roost in that area. Two the logger ran over a bunch of smaller trees and cut the larger ones in his way and left them lay. The skidder just tore it up there plus all the tops of the trees he logged left laying which Im sure is standard procedure when logging. I'm not a tree hugger and my father in law is not as well but these trees are not going to be able to be replaced in our life time to the size they where and plus the fact they ruined some great hunting area. My question is what would you do in this situation. I mean it could have been a mistake but I really don't think it was and he is getting the money from the logs but there still stands the fact that if your in business like that you would think you make darn sure where you was to get your logs from. Now my father in law has to do the clean up cause he don't want anymore damage from the skidder dragging the tops out. Plus like I said it's not replaceable and ruined some good roost trees. The skidder ruined our camping area and a access road. We figured at least $3000 for fuel for our equip just to clean the area back up to what it was minus some nice trees.

*** 3rd Annual Roadtrip Video!!! ***
You don't have to buy a boat. There will be plenty of empty seats on member boats. No one has ever had to fish from the bank on these trips. Ronnie Yeah but I don't want to impose, It would feel like I was taking advantage.

Pitching - Please Help
If you really want to get good at it here is what you have to do, it's the number one thing. Practice until your sick of it and then practice some more. Take a coffee can with water in it out in the yard set it out at 30 to 40 ft practice getting your bait in that can. I say start off at longer distances because once you master that the shorter distances will be really easy after that. Once you get used to just hitting the can practice dropping the bait in the can with out makeing a big splash this is where your going to have practice the most with thumb control and height of your lure from the ground. Me I try to keep mine as close to the ground as much as possable but still high enough to get into my target. I also practice in the house as well this is where you can really practice flipping on a nasty day. I practiced everyday during the summer and winter for a year untill I got so used to doing it, it became second nature and sometimes I still go out and practice just to have something to do. I would also walk around the yard and pick different targets in the yard and just pitch to each one. Stand on a stool in the yard and simulate pitching from a boat. Anytime I was out fishing and the fish just wouldn't cooperate I would practice flipping to different targets and concentrate on not making a big splash. It also helps when pitching to bow like your bowing to someone but not bow all the way down just a little bow to the pitch as it's in air. I read that from Ike's website and it works. I Prefer for my brakes to be almost all the way off it is just easier to me that way my thumb is the brake. I'm almost to the point now that unless I have to really get the bait way out I'll just pitch my baits all the time or flip them sometimes. Tons of practice is the only way to become proficent at it. It takes some dedication and comitment to do it good but keep at it and it will come. Just keep doing it, keep doing it, and keep doing it

GASOLINE
Yep I'm feelin it myself as if anybody isn't. I was wanting to buy a nice bass boat this year or maybe next but I'm not even considering it anymore. It would be nice but beating the banks at farm ponds is alot cheaper nowadays although not any challenge. I'm at a point now to where I don't hardly want to fish anymore. I can go to any private pond/small lake and catch them without hardly any effort so it's not much interesting anymore. I thought if I got a boat it would make it more challenging and interesting but I'm not going to go broke just to fish.

Oil Closed at $129.17 Today
Probably voted for a raise. I was just proving my point that Im not the only one who views the situation for what it really is. I see your point and I hope you didn't think I was attacking you or anything. I just think that it's all a big show. No pun intended toward you.

Credit Card fraud
I'm sure the credit card company will take care of you they from what I have seen don't take fraud lightly. Not being a smart elic but I would cut the thing up and get rid of it permently myself. I don't have CC and don't like them. It will be one less thing you have to worry about

Does it trouble any of you when you see what you're doing to us?" asked Sen. Richard Durbin, D-Ill. I liked this response from the link that Jhoffman provided, as if they really care. They probally had lunch afterward and appologized for being so hardnose with them but they had to make a good show for J Q taxpayer voter. Then they took the big campain checks after dinner.
