I have yet to meet a KY state tropper who didn't have class and act unproffesional. All I have met have been super nice guys and gals. Very underpaid for a very demanding job. Come up to Ky I have doves all over. I set out a couple of dove decoys in my backyard on the fence and they come in all the time. But as of last sat I'm after the fall turkey.

The easiest way I have found to identify a snake is, if I see one I go the other way and let them go on there merry way. This way it lumps them all into one catergory and I don't have to worry if I misidentifed it. Thats how I have learned how to identify them.

Thanks guys for the advice, Just to let you know I'm not quiting the forum. This is the forum I measure all the others up to and there aren't any that come as close as the great thing going here. I will fish agin there is no question to it but I think you have to lose something for a while in order to appreaciate how much you love it. I'm thinking by spring I'll be ready to set the hook agin. I know one thing there is not a better bunch of people than there are right here on this site.

With fishing for a while. I haven't been since spring and I don't even have the desire to go anymore. I don't know why but it isn't appealing to me right now. I used to love going as much as I could the last few years it was a way to releave stress and just get outside and enjoy nature. I don't know I have been under stress all summer and I don't think fishing will even help with that right now. I'm yearning to be in the stand after some turkeys and deer this fall. I'm not quiting just takeing a long break in hopes of getting the passion back next spring. Has anyone else been through this.

It don't bother me, I guess all the years on putting hay or tobacco in the barn has conditioned me to it. Plus the fact I worked at a steel plant when I got out of high school and it felt like a cool fall day when it was a 100 degrees outside after being inside.

I see them all the time. Although they may just be driveing by or what have you. I personally don't mind being checked by them there just doing there job that we pay them to do. I'm going to be the first to admit it is ignorance on my part. I try to use correct spelling a grammer but, I'm going to be honest it's been so long since high school and not enough time spent writeing I have forgotten alot. It sucks but I do atleast make an effort it just seems to get harder to remember the older I get and I'm not that old even though thats not an excuse.

Phil Gramm wants you to believe it's all in your head. Stop being such a whiner.... : Let's see...tonight it was either milk for my son, or gas to get to work... Looks like I might be walking tomorrow, just to get there, and then get sent home again because they cut more routes. Pretty sad when the UPS guy has to decide between the bare essentials like groceries, or paying the mortgage. I feel for you man, I hope it gets better for you and all of us. But I'm thinking it isn't anytime soon. I have a feeling your going to see people start getting back to the basics, like raising a garden and hunting to get there meat and cutting out alot of things like sateilite and cable and maybe the internet. We have gotten spoiled with all the luxury items we have now like cell phones new cars and yes even dropping $200 dollars on fishing reel. America has been through hard times before we just have to tuff it out and keep trying.

The tag on my Redwing boots says made in china, I thought too I was buying american but was sadly disapointed. Not to many things we buy anymore that isn't made somewhere else. I have many thoughts as to why we are in the shape we are in but won't go there. Redwing shoes are all made in USA. Every shoe that says Redwing on it is made in USA. Redwing sells Chinese shoes under the Irish Setter, Vasque, and Worx Brand names. I looked at every boot they had at the store and they all said made in china so something has happend or the store I bought mine from stuck it in me. Hey I atleast made an attempt to try and buy american but I was tired of all the other boots I had before and had good luck with redwing so I went back with them. Anyways back to the beer.
