If we are just talking about a 14' max Jon ? Lowe makes a 14' V NOSE flat bottom . This is what I have. It's 6' wide in the back and very stable for a small boat .

I take it that's the same boat but It has different trolling motors? My boat is about like yours and I was wanting to get the hand operated motor not the foot . Did you not like the hand operated one? I also think a V is a nicer boat but flats are cheaper.

I got the Core today. Cleaned it up,flushed the bearings & gave her a dab of oil. line should show up Tomorrow for it (Shooter). However Tomorrow I will be the shooter it's opening day of rifle season! I'll be leaving the Core 50 at home & taking the AR-15 (in 6MM PPC) with me in the morning...

I don't think that TD will work (looked but can't find it). I don't think it's a "DI" transducer.

I have the Mossberg. It's cammo, shoots 3.5'' shells & came with a long barrel for duck.. & the Turkey barrel... I had the Turkey Thumb hole 535 but with 3.5 it kicked like a Mule !!! The Semi auto has a lot less recoil

I like the Senco better. I use the Black/blue flake 5'' Senco. The BPS ones are 5-3/8'' & have a LOT more flake. Don't get me wrong they work god but I think the Senco catches more fish & thats worth the extra price to me...

I love my TP/ Kistler. If I had a gripe it is the grip is too fat I need to put it on a diet. Just got thinking about it & I have 3 TP reels & 3 Kistler rods so watch out they breed.

so as of now I like the Humminbird 570 DI but They arent a sponser what does Lowrance make that is equil in that price range...?

I just don't know a lot about them. I'd hate to get one & then find out I should have got another. Work is nuts now & I haven't had a lot of time to check them out yet...

I love my 50E & if the nearest Academy wasen't over 3 hours away I'd be in line for another 1-2 on Black Friday. The Core does have all the goodies & box. It Does not have any boat rash & was not fished alot... so the story goes.

How does the Shimano Core 50MG7 compare to the Curado 50? I know it's lighter & faster but will it do even better throwing light baits... What is a used core worth ? $220?
