I have no problem with them searching anything they need to search or someone trying to make a buck. I just wish the sign would have said "park here free" It would have shown a bit of class for the town. I did get to see the president's motorcade on it's way out of town. Pretty cool, He even waved as it drove by.

I just drove up by the High school and it's a ZOO! Police... from town's 30+ miles away getting ready for the "visit". I even saw homeowners charging People $20 to park in their yards!!! I was shocked and saddened by this.

So I live in the small town of Osawatomie Kansas. It's a town of only around 4500 people until today. The President will be making a speech in our High school for 400 people Today. First off I did not vote for the man but I do respect him as the President of the united states. The town has been filled with secret service... for over a week now . They have set up surveillance cameras and searched through buisneses... Black hawks & Chinooks have been at our small airport & they have some sort of satellite set up at the airport. I'm not the biggest Obama fan But he is the President and this should be a pretty cool event for our little town. I'm not going to see the speech (I'll watch it on TV) but I would like to check out the motorcade and all of the Secret Service. Either way it may be a good day to leave the CCW at home.

OO Mod's boat has super nice decks that probably took some time & money to do. I built the deck on my boat in just over 1 hour with scraps I had laying around. I figure it was just over $25 worth of steel studs and pickets and it weighs around 25# extra. It opens up for storage and also holds the gas tank/battery life jackets & oar... I am going to mount a seat on it but haven't done it yet. I'll get a picture up of it in a bit.
