  1. RH seem to be rampant now I think I may have found a lucky break, shall see tomorrow if Im going to be disappointed like when they discontinued the shanghai streetside dumplings from PF Chang's menu edit ordered another one off of a popular site, normally said backorder so Ill see tomorrow if it works
  2. I dropped kicked my steering wheel when I read the email at the light. I yelled WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY ME WHYYYYYYYYYY I might have to buy a chronarch ci4 or core and NRX to take away the pain
  3. order was canceled...actually was RH model in stock search/wait continues
  4. I bought a LH model today on the auction site. I almost don't believe it's true until I get tracking. Hopefully everywhere has them soon because gander now says June 12th for LH models.
  5. What? Its the only knot I ever use with braid and its never slipped. I tried the palomar a few times but it was annoying to tie in my opinion and I wasted tag end. Not that it matters, Bobby Barrack uses this knot for his frog fishing and he loves it.
  6. I believe the veritas comes in a 7ft heavy and the 7ft 3 is MH, rated up to 1oz. Im happy with my veritas rods and abu customer service is exceptional I believe they are even 69.97 at Dicks Sporting Goods or 79.99 elsewhere right now
  7. Are you talking the orra winch? Im actually looking into that myself.
  8. I buy power pro too based on price and convenience. I don't know why basspro sells it in 100 yd spools rather than the 150 yd they sell readily available at Walmart for the same price. I just bought a 150 yd spool of $9.96 US Braid from Walmart. Its orange and made in 'merica. Ill see how it holds up. I see up to 50lbs on sale.
  9. The points are already stated. I have both and when I use the R I get more attention from the women. It looks stunning. Get the R, unless you're married.
  10. Its especially became more funner when I bought a gooder rod and reel setup.
  11. You should be fine as long as you aren't exposing the mono backing every cast. They do have some braid at walmart for about 8 dollars a roll if you are ever able to pick some up. I believe thats the most cost effective one.
  12. You'll probably have more Lew's options at that price
  13. I will usually catch more fish when alone because I do as I want, but most of my friends hardly get out to fish due to family/work so its good when it happens. What I do hate is sometimes Ill drive 45 minutes and they'll neglect to tell me they can only fish for 2-3hours. I have a 6hr minimum. I've also made plans many times with someone on this forum to fish and then they wake up at 2pm on the actual day. Im alone 95% of the time but now I've been fishing near my workplace with co workers since we have a lake out back.
  14. The money that you save on line and lures you can then use to buy Mugen parts for the s2k
  15. Ive seen YZ in walmart stores recently(clear). Id have to go to sports authority beforehand, ones that had a fishing section.
  16. I've had 2 The 1st one, the butt cap fell off within a day. I returned it to gander and got another. Within a month the coating started separating. I really liked the rod but I gave up on them after that. I liked the flashiness. I hear the new company has been taking care of past customers way better than E21 did. I don't like the look of the new carrot stick, but don't mind the other models.
  17. If you're paying $80 for it, Id rather get a Veritas for the same price with a 3 year warranty. They don't even ask you to ship back your rod at Abu like many other companies, which may cost you a good amount of money on top of the original price, if any issues arise. They make a 7ft3 mh.
  18. Good to know for reference. I also cast 1/4 oz rattle traps on it and worms with a small bullet weights without probs.
  19. With the way I have it set up, I cast 1/4 oz walmart spinner baits with no problems.
  20. I don't, just put line on it, but when I do eventually clean and re lube, Im impressed with the difference...later on.
