  1. I saw the pics my buddy posted and it looks good. Johnny Morris was there taking pics with the staff. The palm bay store opens dec 6th I believe.
  2. Hows it look inside? Some of my friends are the ones that put it together. I think they have a longer time to have Palm Bay open than this one had. I think they have until December and this was supposedly 6 weeks from start.
  3. I'll be down in broward this weekend fishing from 7 to about 5 on Saturday. All my gym workouts this week will be tailored around viscous hooksets using explosive compound movements. I plan to pull lunkers straight out of the water onto the shore in one sweep. Bass, peas, snakes, snook, tarpon, shark, manatee, sunken ships... Nothing is exempt! Its about to get mo' seriouser, Rod warranties may come into play this weekend!
  4. My dad and I caught a bunch on Saturday but nothing worth screaming about. This Saturday hopefully the old jig brings home the bacon, lettuce and tomato. I might pull out the swimbaits and see if I can bring up the titanic.
  5. Everyone seems pretty in the ballpark, but around my area that would be reported as 10lbs by some
  6. Gotta have those toe warmers
  7. There are peas, snakes and all in there
  8. Lots of good info in this thread with experiences. That's why I love Abu's customer service so much. Send an email or call, send required info with pics and they ship out a new rod. Nothing to ship back and 0-9.95 cost. BPS is also great with otc returns.
  9. I have 3, no problems, one is going 2 years strong almost (micro), one 6'9 micro and one 7ft11 flipping. Im pretty careful with my gear and I dont hookset excessively hard. I have had friends break guides off the micro rods, but I know one has broken rods of various brands (rough on gear) The other, I cant say how he broke the guide, but I do notice the 2nd guide from the bottom is the one that seems the most suspect, even on the replacement rod.
  10. U mad brah This weeked I wont use a ruler or tape measure, Ill need one of these to measure my fishes
  11. Its dark at 7:30 now and those clocks go back soon
  12. My neighbor told me the lake one complex over is holding fish and the bite is on He gave me some information that I couldnt believe It was honestly music to my ears That said, this weekend will be my weekend 99 problems but a fish aint one
  13. Not I, I like variety as long as the product and customer service is reputable. I may not be happy with all purchases but Im happy with most of the products I have from various brands.
  14. I didn't see the jig video, I missed that one Then I re-watched the others again
  15. You can only recommend a 100 dollar rod and such and such reel so many times before you get bored of repetition... I know I did. I just stick to threads related to what I own now and give input if asked. This thread is full o life and jokes. I dont think Ive caught 20 fish in the last 2 months but this weekend is my weekend. I went outside today the neighborhood pond and there is so much crap on the water, they just cut the grass. I used to be able to go outside and catch 3-10 fish a night, now not so much,
  16. This thread is the best "section" on this site IMO. When I see that Martin Posted a video, it's just... and oh yeah, remember "this weekend is my weekend"
  17. Contact abu's warrant dept, they are excellent. They will usually just mail you a new rod out and you wont have anything to send back in. Could have broken for many reasons, it happens, even to the rods you mentioned upgrading to.
  18. How do you like to set your wacky hooks? Do you just reel in or use any special techniques?
  19. si senor Theres a lake surrounded by cattails and sawgrass I like to go to. I usually get a few with the flipping stick. Thats probably my favorite place but Im always on edge from gators unfortunately.
  20. You aren't looking in the waters properly
  21. Over in sunrise near 44th street, they are in many of the canal systems now. We've seen and caught them in Plantation off of Cleary Blvd.
