  1. did the LH model come out yet or is it still stuck in hiding?
  2. Throwing that shell cracker g2 and other hard and soft body baits
  3. Diggy replied to Blues19's topic in Fishing Tackle
Thanks, walks well but seems to suck in water like crazy. Might just be a bad one
  4. Bout to get an order in myself. Id like to spend around 25-30 bucks, random jigs based on your choices for So. Fla grass and rock areas
  5. I can do a test this week and check because I have a 7ft mh carbonlite micro and my co worker has the same rod in standard. I can swap my reel between both the the same bait and settings and see if there is any "difference" I did notice less fouling or line wrapping on my micro with braid, but Id like to try a k-series guide to see if it alleviates all of the wrapping probs
  6. 1 bottom contact (Dealer Sample) NRX then whatever else I can get deals on.
  7. I could be wrong about it being a house brand, but thats the only place Ive seen them. Either way they work well.
  8. Its this brand, there is one that looks like a bleeding shad that I caught 17 bass with in my dads lake within 1hr this is another color that works well
  9. Gold Red Eyed Shad and some cheap Dick's Sporting Goods house brand traps have been doing it for me Oh yeah the Havoc Federale worm texas rigged has been getting popped also
  10. I will buy one for worm and jigs because the way its hyped on here (bucket list purchase). I want to feel every blade of grass, rock, pebble and be able to feel fish pass gas near my bait. The rod sounds incredible and I must experience this 1st hand. Ill get one of those dealer samples.
  11. If they keep hitting the search baits, I have no reason to switch it up. I prefer chuck and reel baits by nature.
  12. Exactly! We probably all have friends that have much cheaper combos and catch fish with no problems. Your combo is absolutely fine.
  13. You're good. I ran/run a similar combo and no problems at all. Enjoy your new purchase. Great deal.
  14. Id leave 2, maybe 3 pins out if you know how to cast. Salt water, not made for it long term...I used mine out of the box, but cleaning and re-oiling made a difference.
  15. There's usually online sales but in store has things that they don't advertise
  16. I have a microguide carbonlite and about 10 veritas rods For Worms and bottom contact the carbonlite is amazing with fluoro. When a fish hits the bait it feels "violent" I like to use the veritaseseses for everything else...
  17. I bought one for 14 bucks but it's NOT, NOT, NOT worth the retail price of 59.99. The guides are cheap. I'd rather a Berkley rod easily
  18. I went on our to Springs and Margate on Sunday. Only caught one in Sunrise before heading up. I didnt even see any to spook. I guess I have to go to uncharted areas now because they must be over fishished. I used to be able to catch them in the same spots any time of year as long as it was 70+ I think its time for me to retire from the game for a bit and switch over to fly fishing tilapia
  19. I go snakehead fishing in Springs and catch bass, sigh....
  20. Lakes need pronounceable names like lake bob
  21. I have a 7ft6 vendetta, this could work with a reel that balances well
  22. Its been working on both for me. I just walk the edges chucking and reeling parallel to the bank mostly. Sometimes I fan cast and pick up a few.
