  1. oh and about the line, there is absolutely nothing wrong with mono, mono is by far the best type of line in my opinion as long at it has a low memory formula and is durable. Ilike trilene XT or the original Stren, mono is all I use and i couldnt be happier, plus its the cheapest
  2. Thats too small of a hook in my opinion, i use flukes as well as the super flukes(a little bigger) so anyway I would stay with a 4/0 gammy or Eagle claw lazer sharp.
  3. bread, cheese, and oatmeal, my favorite is otmeal( it causes a huuuge feedikng frenzy!
  4. yep, they are called the Tamoroc Pits, there are 46 small -medium sized ponds open to the public that were stocked with fish a long time ago, great fish in there!
  5. turtles in your pond is neither good ir bad, they dont harm your fishing though
  6. looks nice man!bet it sounds even better!
  7. thats hilarious!
  8. Is there any clubs near west-central fl?
  9. Welcome, I reccomend a Pfleuger president spinning combo around $80. As far as lures i reccomend the following: white strike king spinnerbait, a black and blue strike king jig, rage tail craws, zooom super flukes, zoom finesse worms, some 1/8 oz bullet weights and some 4/0 and 5/0 Gamakatsu Ewg hooks, oh and for line i like trilene xt(very tough line)
  10. welcome! and glad to see you have alot of drive!
  11. i like to use the tail of a culprit worm, zoom flukes, and sometimes zoom baby brush hogs
  12. ok thanks guys, i had an idea that i needed something in between, thanks i will be looking around for a solution, any combos you suggest (spinning) that don't empty my wallet?
  13. I need some advice as to which setups i should use for specific purposes, i have a Quantum ignitioncombowith a 6'6" light-medium acton rod spooled with 8lb Trilene XT. I also have a Quantum Tournament grade baitcaster combo with a 6'6" heavy action rod, it is spooled with 14lb Spiderwire EZ Mono. With my spinning setup I mainly fish small soft plastics, small spinnerbaits, and small jigs. With my baitcast setup i mainly fish top-water, large plastics, and large spinerbaits and jigs. Does this sound ok to you guys?
  14. I use the small 1/8 ounce white one with a white triler from Z-man, i like to burn it as well as jig it around lily pads, it doesnt seem to be as effective in open and deep water
  15. I like the splitshot rig when fishing on a muddy or rocky bottom, it gives it a wounded action, I also use them as a jig trailer sometimes due to their tail making so much action. I also like to nose hook a super fluke using a mustad or eagle claw weedless hook.
  16. everything you have will work, dont be afraid to throwbig lures at small bass in most cases they devour them
  17. I am looking to build a rod quiver I can fit in one hand to carry around 4 setups for bank fishing, any suggestions on how to build one of these? pics or videos will be greatly appreciated
  18. I am looking for a spinning setup around $100 with a medium-heavy rod, any suggestions of a good quality rod&reel?

So I was outside yesterday shooting my .243 and as i was putting it away i saw something brown fall from a tree while walking back to the garage, I went over to it thinking it was a dead bird or something and it turned out to be a little baby squirell. I played with it for a little while and then put it in my hat and brought it to show my mom, which she flipped out thinking it was a rat haha!. So anyway Ive decided the best thing to do now is raise it until it is able to go out on its own . Im guessing its mother left him or died. I have it livig in a rabbit cage now and feeding it walnuts and pistachios. This thing is hilarious to watch it eat a pistachio that is almost as big as its head is haha. So i guess ill have it for a while, anybody know how long it will take it to get bigger and mature?
