Made Up Weights
Hi Salenity is making the very valid point..... his .02cents is worth just as much as your OP. you weighted your fish and that is all that matters, it dont look 6.6 but a scale dont lie, TWO scales in your case. As per your tone, you didnt like someone questioning you....so the question is why are you questioning national publications, pros facebook page, ect ect. they might have weighted them too .... not trying to start anything with you, just pointing out it can go both ways.

Fish Meat Condition
bass in the #1.25 range eat the best. you probably should have cleaned them the same day,and chosen smaller fish. but you learned your lesson, I suppose. there is a large part of me that hopes you are just kidding and having fun saying you threw away a 20# sack of fish.

Best Knot For Fluoro
the palomar is probably the most popular knots in todays fishing....... I say if it is the one you can tie fastest and the best, use it. The palomar is a knot that must be stacked correctly....... and I cant do it. I cant tie a palomar to save my life,LOL

Does U Guys Use Backing When Spooling A New Reel
there are many guys that use backing around here, then use 50-65 yards of top shot. we have gotten pretty detailed in our backing/topshot methods in past threads...... run a search and you can find some really good info on why, how, and how much. I will look and hunt it up later and post the link to some threads here, but there is lots of good stuff if you want to search in the meantime.

I used CXX before then switched to yozuri.... I think I still prefer the FC on the swimbaits. I need more stick time, before I really comment though.

Rod And Reel Covers
I always wanted to get the angler innovations rod/reel cover..... its all one piece and covers your rod and reel. they are more expensive than others but look to do a great job, plus I have heard friends say "insert rod jacket brand here" has put fine scrathes on their rod blanks. in protecting 3,4,5,600 or $700+ combos I dont think anything is overdoing it.

Fishing Pickwick License Question
yes....... alabama is all you need for wilson. I fish pickwick a lot too and I still only need an Alabama License to fish from pickwick dam to wilson dam. now if you are going to below the Pickwick Dam you need to spring for a TN permit, which you will not be doing during the Roadtrip as Pickwick Dam is almost 2 hours away from Doublehead resort.

Pb & J Jig Trailer
on a PB&J jig I use these rage craw colors... bama craw, green pumpin, I have some PB&J rage craws but never really used them. I really like the bama craw color, the green pumpkin with orange accents really blends well and highlights a PB&J jig IMO I am pretty sure Netbaits and Rage Craw colors are very similar if not exact match if you use Netbait stuff.

its a Bobby Barrack vid where he is throwing the G2, and states FC is the way to go for waking or diving that bait. I see both sides, but I would throw it on FC too......... what say you Mr Speed?
