why wipe off the excess? I spray it on and let it SOAK......... even the directions on the bottle say spray it on and let dry if I am not mistaken. many people after fishing make a long cast and give it a few sprays while reeling in at the end of the day.

580G is the ONLY lens to buy........I repeat the ONLY lens to buy. I have had the 580P before and it was subpar compared to the 598G I had before so I got another pair of 580G. I have also worn the 400G ...... again, the 580G for clarity and perfection is the ONLY lens to get. PM me and I will give you the Ebay seller I get mine from.

I dont like it either....... as my arguement is once Paul "figured it out" going to chatter instead of lipless, he actually had the biggest tournament as shown by his saturday and sunday bags. His weights got bigger and a lot the field got smaller. that said I think what probably happened is friday was so bad nobody kept up with him saturday.... then they probably kinda thought that bag was a fluke so he backburnered again...... either way he should have gotten just as much air time as anyone.....more I say since he did finish 2nd. what better way to promote you sport than showing someone "making it" through your A. AA, AAA farm system..... it shamefull if he didnt get quality coverage. quick story: I fished a open tournament of a club that was BASS affliated....... I showed up that morning and paid and launched.... I asked for a schedule and additional info. The BASSguy told me "you just pay your money and show up" I said " You cant give me a schedule? or anything?" BASSguy : " man, we fish a lot of big water" I said: " I see that, this lake is a full 650 acres." I left before weight in and said NEVER will I fish with those arse hats again.

yeah I think the word "timeshare" has been misused in this thread...... as the BPS folks sell more weekend/vacation packages than a true timeshare. They may indeed use those vacation packages to sell a full blown timeshare over time, I dont know. as far as the theory of threads safely dieing a quite death........ I think we can safely call that one "mythbusted"

there are also the people out there that really do know what they are talking about and you can scour the interwebs to find honest opinions. I know for a Dobyns rods when I want a new one and I am undecided I can look for post or PM several folks including David P Civicrr tritonman77 (trey Harpel) and many others on this board too these people have never steered me wrong and are knowledgeable enough at what they do when they told me a rod was XYZ and I ordered it, it was XYZ on the dot and exactly what I wanted. I guess my point is, just cause people gather stuff from the net, doesnt mean its bad. You can easily find people if a guy wants to look....... if I look for reviews and see a very common theme in those reviews and its something I dont like or something that I prefer something else then I am not going to buy that product. I dont think that makes someone a blind sheep, it just means there are people out there with the same views as me, or you, or anyone else. which is why we dont use all the same reels, rods, line, boats, ect ect.

on navionics it looks like a big 60 foot deep ditch with little main channel structure, there is some but not near as much as Pickwick ...... through other readings and PMs it seems to be all creek related, some being deep and some being shallower..... and some being loaded with structure, some very lacking in structure. Wilson is however rocky much like Pickwick, best I can gather, perhaps without the grass. This is my impression based on map readings, I am sure the more local guys that have signed up can FAR Exceed what "think"

oh I almost forget...... catch n release 100% of what you catch. nothing makes the golf course superintendent madder than seeing pictures on Faceboook, instagram ect of fillet knifes or a 7#er laying in the back of a truck. If you do things like that, expect your privliges to be revoked in not a nice way.

if the water is over 55 degrees a topwater CAN be had albeit slow.
