  1. Tatsu breakdown: 6# is .008 8# is .009 10# is .010 12# is .011 15# is .013 20# is .015 25# is .016 smallest pound for pound I have seen. which means tatsu 20# is smaller than most 17# of other brands, even smaller or at least same size pound for pound as most 15#. the whole "similar mono" versus "other FC" in 12# is bunk and false. The .285 measurement is in MM which makes it .011 thousandths.
  2. I wasnt talking about bass fishing either. like 00mod said, they are cannibals. not saying it will be the deal, but it is worth trying for a day or at least a few minutes.
  3. Btw: Brian is not implying anything. My statement is clear: It is nature and we are human. Nature will never be "figured out", for the fact we are human. It is not our place to understand. Mother Nature will always be "king", always one step in front of humans.... as that is the way it was designed. If it wasnt we would still be using penicillian for everything but things change for whatever reason. Kyakr, from what I gather you come from a nursing background. You would have had to seen it yourself. with that said we still catch fish on the same spinnerbaits in the same colors and the same worms...... it is a circle; a circle that will not be broken or figured out in any lab or study method, IMO. Sure the lab and studies will always come close, but nature will always change, add another variable. Then humans will make new studies on new lures, and think we have it figured out, only for nature to turn it upside down again. Sometimes you just got to look up and enjoy what you are seeing, and not worry about the WHY so much, just be glad it is. There is a reason they are called mad scientist......they went mad trying to figure out the impossible, LOL. and that argument has never been broken, and most likely never will.
  4. or eaten! never forget they all dont get caught, some... many get eaten....... throw a 68special around the dumping site I say.
  5. indeed Andy........ you had to blow the dust off that rule. so 50 cents a fish makes it $1.50 but since my earlier commitment was also $7 per 4#er.......it looks like my little joke makes 3 children very happy, and a 4th just a few drum away!!!
  6. Kent, we went below the dam sunday. we were thinking the flow and timing were right.....it wasnt. I caught 4 drum, 2 large, 2 spots and a smallmouth(not pictured) I think jeff caught 4 spots and a smallie. They were pumping 53ish all day with 4 generators..... bait shop was out of XL bait. it was fun because Ihavent caught anything in a while, but not a day to write about, other than to have a little fun. I am however, refining my drum technuiqe so I may be a force at next years roadtrip, HA!

it was good 25 years ago, I guess every generation has its deal. Chris Farley was the man, chippindales, van down by the river, the always classic smitts gay.LMAO Hartman was a gold....... weekend news was never the same after Dennis Miller left. SNL is always the best when they make fun of presidents.

  16. probably relabels with some flash.......nothing wrong with that, just saying........unless it is new carbonfiber pixy dust composite it is really hard to reinvent the wheels when it comes it reels.
  17. HA! I was typing as Francho was posting....
  18. X3 I have forced to use the "view new content" tab on top of page and set up the filters to make do. the "My Content" in the pulldown (when you click your name) is much better though.
  19. does Midsouth outdoors still air? I used to find some old clips on youtube but seems to be really hard to find now.
  20. I have both and use both. My opinion would be go with the 784ML... it is a awesome jig rod. I have thrown anywhere from 1/4 oz jigs+trailer to 1/2 jigs+trailer... I throw flutter spoons on it too. In fact I have even thrown spinnerbaits. It is really one of my favorites in the line, and one of Dobyns best sellers. The extra lenght is nice, and I am looking for a reason to use it when I can. the tip on the 784ML will be faster than the 744. for your intended use and preferences I go with the 784ML without a doubt.
  21. Mizzo will have an argument to be made if OSU goes down and they beat Auburn
  22. I thought this was the chat room, lol!
